Me and the guys were out on the town to get the groom suited up. After going to various stores that didn't give him the attention he deserved we ran into Grady at Dillard's. Wow what an experience. Not only is the suit fully customizable but Grady is a masterclass in fitting and guiding my buddy on the choices to make to ensure his suit is perfect for his big day. We will be back for more than just the grooms suit. Absolutely outstanding experience.

I have shopped at Dillards for years. I buy my high dollar bags and my high dollar bras as well as shoes and clothes
Do NOT buy a bag from the pushy Midddle Eastern woman, if you dare carry it and decide you don't like it she will lecture you as if you were there and you had just bitten another student at her preschool. I am 55 years old and if I don't deserve respect as a customer I sure as hell do as an elder. I even said to wrap the purse back up and would just live with because she was basically saying I could not return it. I had bought it 48 hours previously and was swapping it for another bag. She knew she had to take that bag back. I am returning EVERYTHING i bought from her. And I will NEVER step foot in Dillards again Bye !
Furious. I cannot believe the way she spoke to me and chastised me like a child. And did I carry the bag? Yes for approximately four hours
There was a receipt in it that she threw at me. Done!
I have never been treated in such a manner a a department store except trashy wal marts

At this point I rarely go anywhere aside from Dillard's for my clothes shopping. Anything from casual to business casual to attire for a night out, they will have in many clothing lines, fits, and prices. They have taken great care and attention in helping me find what I need and answering all of my questions, in particular Josh W. who helped me really expand my wardrobe and venture into the world of cologne.

It was great, actually. I looked all over the mall for Valentine's Day gifts, and finally just breezed into Dillard's and found just what I wasn't even looking for!

My husband and I went in today to find an outfit for an upcoming wedding. Joshua was able to help us find everything we needed and went above and beyond to do so. We are grateful for his expertise and willingness to cater to us to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be back!

I've been going to Dillard's, Lincoln cosmetics mostly, for at least 10 years. I love their products! The sells reps are very professional friendly! Maria Gentry is amazing! She's always spot on with choosing specific cosmetics I need for my skin, my skin tone. And even new fragrance's. The newest is the "ABSOLUE" line. I had the privilege of trying two... "Le parfum", and Roses on the Moon". WOW! I love both! Long lasting modern fragrances. Thank you, once again Maria Gentry for you patience with me and your knowledge. ❤️

I recently visited Dillard’s to buy shoes for my 4-year-old, and unfortunately, it was one of the most frustrating retail experiences I’ve had in years. I don’t typically shop in-person, but I had this idea that we might get help with sizing and understanding of the difference between the brands if we went in-person. Maybe there was SOME reason to still make the hike out to a box store, as opposed to buying on Amazon.
Well, after waiting 20-30 minutes, trying on the display shoes, no staff in sight, and my 4-year-old begging to leave - I had no choice but to help myself….
In hindsight, yes, I should have just left and taken my business elsewhere, but my son already picked out a toy…so, I was pretty set on getting him shoes, a toy, and heading out.
Anyway, after trying on all of the display shoes that I could find, I finally went into the back to grab several pairs of shoes so I could start fitting my child/hopefully complete my purchase.
I was balancing six or seven boxes and organizing them for my son to start trying on when two staff arrived. I was finally asked if I needed help. Ha! I said that yeah I really did need help, but I had everything I needed at the moment.
So, then, one member got a real stern voice and serious look on her face to tell me customers were NOT allowed in the back room. Like I was in the wrong or did something wrong - In front of my child.
I said I wasn’t sure if anyone was working the area, or if it had turned into a self-serve option. (Everything else has). I explained I had been waiting for almost half an hour, and I just wanted to try on some shoes.
The staff member then told me that they had not been off the floor THAT long. Again, in front of my child.
Like - why are you arguing with me about the amount of time I was waiting without help??
A simple, ‘I’m so sorry for the wait—let me help you from now on though, because I’m the one that should be getting things from the back FOR you’ would have resolved everything.
Instead, the staff chose to reprimand me, argue over irrelevant details like how long they were gone from their post (you think I WANT to go do your job), and generally make me feel extremely awkward and unwelcome. To make matters worse, they stood off to the side glaring at me as I juggled putting shoes on my kid AND putting ones that didn’t work back into their boxes. Wouldn't it have been helpful to assist me in that moment? Wouldn’t it be great to say, “Hey, I’m sorry we got off on the wrong foot there at first…but, can I help a mom out by putting these shoes away for you if they don’t work?”
For reference, I purchased $130 worth of shoes and toys from the store that day and had intended to buy multiple pairs of shoes if anyone had been proactive in helping. But, honestly, it was easier to just go to Belk.
