I don't like the little dude that magically ends up in the same aisle as me when I shop. As if he needs to restock right near me at the same time every time I shop. It makes people uncomfortable. Also grounds to get cursed out.

The shelves are always empty and the parking lot is littered with garbage. The DG on meridian st. Huntsville. It's a brand new store and it is horribly managed. I don't understand why it is so unorganized, filthy,, and shelves empty ,and boxes piled up in isles unopened, and never see anyone stocking, but 3 people will be working behind counter. This store needs some serious management improvements. And CLEAN UP TBE PARKING LOT. ITS DISGUSTING.

The employees are very nice. But the daytime manager seems to have a very large problem with the white customers. I watched as she completely shamed (as loudly as possible) this little white girl. She let her buy her few items, but yelled that this was the last time she would ever come to the store. The girl was in tears, saying that she must have her confused with someone else. The manager acted as though this was a stage and her performance was big. She laughed as she checked this girl out and continued to yell and look for others approval as she walked the girl to the door saying ugly things to her. Idk why she felt that she was intitled to give out this type of belittling and public shaming. If the girl did infact steal from the store, why didn't she just go ahead and call authorities instead of putting on such a horrible performance for the customers.

Dollar general....that's it, the only thing I will say this particular location hasn't been open long, and is having problems getting started, but the size of the place and it isn't even a dollar general market, so at least go for the size lol...

How the hell do you have a new store that never even stays open until the posted time. I get off work around 8 and have tried to go to the location multiple times and the doors be locked at 8:30. Really bad way to keep your sales up.

So where I am from dollar general closes at 10… the ones around here close at 9 and I have realized this… however this particular store locks their doors and stop serving customers whenever they please, they do not answer their phones… I have showed up at 8:40 and a woman rudely did this hand gesture that they are closed and hollering were closed and them being closed prior to 9 they have been closed numerous occasions … then I showed up on Saturday and I decided to go in at 8 so I didn’t have to deal with them telling me they are closed…. So at 8:10 I show up and a guy said she’s locked up and closed and not letting anyone else in. I proceed to the door because it’s a Saturday night they surely wouldn’t close this early… sure enough she had the door locked and wouldn’t let anyone in… despite the several other cars pull in… I’d understand if this was a one time deal. But they seeming to close whenever they please… and assuming they are staying clocked in so getting paid doing nothing for the last hour and not letting customers come in… I’m over this…

They just moved into a new building not very far from their old building and they are having a hard time so far with having everything stocked. I still shop here because it's so close to me. Maybe this stocking issue will improve soon.

There was a beautiful, sweet black girl met today who was so nice and helpful and believe she used to bartend at Apple Bee's. Admire folks like her who are very hardworking, nice and patient with such help.
