This is not an antique store. Do not believe the sign. They have a few pieces of furniture in there that have been "redone" with chalk paint and whatnot, but this is not an antique store. With that said, there are some nice decorative items in here--think glass Christmas trees, topiaries, over the top candles, etc. If I was going to the hoitiest of toitiest parties and needed a hostess gift, I'd go here. I literally heard a woman complaining to the owner because they no longer had their "previous gift wrapper" on staff and their business would "suffer because of it." Like seriously, holy crap snob city. I didn't spy anything I couldn't live without, nor could I justify spending triple digits on items you can literally buy (or very close approximations of) for double digits at stores like TJ Maxx. This place is a whole mood. Bring your fanciest purse and your highest heels.

I love this shop. It has become my go to stop for gifts. The staff is always so helpful every time I go in. I love that they are always getting new inventory that is fresh and new - not stuff that you see in every gift store in Huntsville. Also love their FB posts which shows their new inventory as they get it in. Don’t wait too long if interested - it typically disappears very quickly. Thank you ladies at Golden Griffin for doing an outstanding job. ?
