The rooms are dated, decent location, but I've been here for over a month, we travel extensively for work. I always Mark the corners of my sheets in case they just remake your dirty bed instead of replacing your dirty sheets with new ones. On 3 out of 4 cleanings they just put my dirty sheets back on my bed! Literally picked them up off of the floor and remade the bed with the dirty sheets I curled in a ball on the floor! Even after complaining to the manager, they did the same thing! The one time they actually changed the sheets completely was when I carried my old bedding down to the laundry and put them in a hamper personally. The workers at the desk just handed me new sheets and actually told me to bring my old sheets back with me because she had no place to put the dirty ones! This place needs a visit from the health department and or Dateline!

Being a Diamond Member with Hilton, I/we have stayed at many Hilton facilities around the country. This is my/our first stay in Huntsville/Providence, the staff, upon check in, were gracious and informative about the area. When we got to our room, we both were a little 'taken back', first time we've not had a separate bedroom from living space...which is odd to us, since we will be here a week. After walking to one of the recommended dining places close by, we stopped at the front desk and asked for two additional bottles of water...which we have done at EVERY Hilton hotel we've stayed at, we drink coffee and tea, and the two bottles provided upon check in are never enough, so we pick up two additional each day of our stay, or more if we decide to drink an extra cup throughout the day...we were told "Only two bottles per room, at check in, are authorized, you're welcome to purchase water from the "store" if you'd like more." Now, I understand bottled water is available for purchase, but I also understand I spend THOU$AND$ a year (to achieve Diamond status) at Hiltons across the Country, so the Homewood Suites in Providence, AL cannot afford to give (Diamond) guests who are staying with them for a week, additional bottles of water? Because, I'm thinking, any one of the MANY hotels within close proximity might be willing to give out two bottles of water per day, as requested by a Diamond Status guest...? As well as the water, I asked for a small cup of milk from the kitchen...again, I have requested this in other Hiltons with NO issues...was told the kitchen is closed and she would not be able to get that for me. I checked the "store", figuring if I have to buy bottled water, I will buy some milk as well, there was NO milk to purchase. We are not familiar with the area, do not know where might be a place to purchase milk, which is why I asked for a small cup to get me through until we could go to a grocery store. No luck! Both items may seem 'small' to many, but with all the stays we've had at Hiltons, this denial of little items was a first and a disappointment. There is a very good chance work will bring us back to the Huntsville area, I doubt we will be booking a room here in the future.

Location for the hotel was optimal, near the highway and right next to many different restaurant options. Room had a full kitchen and full sized fridge. Everything was nice and clean when I arrived and checking in was a breeze.Breakfast was pretty good with different options every morning, which is nice. The staff was super friendly always saying good morning and asking how we were.Internet speeds were very good with no loss of connection. At night you couldn't really hear neighbors. The only downside to this hotel was the very very very minimal workout equipment. The workout room was very very small. Two treadmills, a workout bike, and about 5 medicine balls. There was even a sign on the wall that said ask staff if you want to visit an actual gym.

Hotel lobby was undergoing renovation. The breakfast lacks any variety of non-pork options or vegetarian choices. Even the milk for cereal was only cows' milk. Teas had caffeine as the only choice. For a Hilton hotel I was very surprised by the slim pickings.Food & drinks: Very central to a lot of other options depending on your taste.

Stayed for the weekend. 2nd night there our 3yr old wet the bed she was in. I went to the front desk during breakfast and asked for just bed service for our room. I was told room service had already started and had a full schedule for the day. The front desk person said she could get us service the next day (we were scheduled to check out the next day). Room service never came to our room and we had to deal with the sheets. Thankfully there was a comforter in the closet we could make shift a bed out of. Other issues I had with the room was a cracked tile and grout in our bathroom. The carpets throughout the hallways had large stains in them, and the room furniture was dirty.Breakfast was good each morning and offered a decent variety of items. However, every morning Fox news was blasting on the TV loud enough were it took effort to talk over it to the people at my table.I was very disappointed in this stay. This Hilton is definitely bringing down the quality of their brand.
