I would caution anyone interested in buying a custom suit from Jos. A. Bank - or at least from the Huntsville Bridge Street location, in particular. I have a Jos. A. Bank custom suit that I purchased from a location in Florida, and I absolutely love it. Hence, when it came time to buy another suit, I went back to Jos. A. Bank, this time to the Huntsville Bridge Street location. I was concerned when the suit arrived for the alterations fitting and was quite a long ways from the correct fit - - it seemed odd that a suit for which the salesman had taken custom measurements would be so far from fitting correctly. When I returned after the final alterations had been made, there was a large snag in the material on one of the sleeves - directly on the front, where it will be noticed by anyone with whom I am engaged in conversation. Additionally, it still did not drape as nicely on the body as a suit - especially, a custom suit - should. When I came out of the dressing room, the salesman asked how I liked the suit, and I told him I was not thrilled but that I was not hopeful anything could be done to fix the suit, given that they had already done the “final” fitting and alteration. His response was, “Ok, I will get her wrapped up for you.” Not an offer to try to figure out how to fix the fit of the suit, nor an apology. When we walked up to the front of the store, he started placing the suit in one of the disposable garment bags. I asked him if Jos. A. Bank had stopped using the nicer garment bags for custom suits, and he said they were out of them and that they were on order; again, I found this odd that a bespoke suit would not arrive with a bag especially for that suit. I asked if I could come back and get the higher-quality garment bag (needed, due to how extensively I travel and the short lifespan of the cheap plastic garment bags), and the salesman replied that I could if they ever get any in again; this conflicted with his previous statement that the bags were simply out of stock and an order had been placed, sounding more as if they don’t have any hope of ever getting any more in stock. When he handed me the suit, there was no apology for it not fitting properly, no apology for not having the correct garment bag, and no thanks for buying one of the more expensive items the store sells. I have exclusively worn Jos. A. Bank dress clothes for over a decade, but I will do my best to avoid the Huntsville Bridge Street location, in the future. I have no problems waiting longer for orders and alterations, completely understanding supply and labor shortages; however, the poor customer service and apathetic approach displayed at this location are not the sort of business practices I want to support with my hard-earned money.

Staff members are all helpful. I was a little disappointed by the lack of odd pants sizes, but I something that fits well enough. This suit makes me look much better than my old one does.

The store is actually back open now. They’ve moved to a larger location closer to the movie theater.

Mark and Davey were a huge blessing to my family after leaving Men's Warehouse at parkway place mall. My wife and I lost our 8 month old daughter and we needed suites quickly. Mark and Davey were able to get everybody setup with not tailoring required. They were efficient, respectful, and a comfort to be around.

It is not open. The website first said it is closed til 6/1. Then pushed back to 6/22 then 6/29. It says it is open but I went there on 6/29 only to find no sign, construction on the front. I called the store number and the message said closed til 7/1 for renovation but the state it is in there is no way it is open 7/1. Unless they don't mean this year.

So, the store is closed. I don't mean 'closed for lunch.' I mean '100% closed, nothing in the store and the lights are off...' closed. The name is even off the side of the building and a competitor is now next door. Now, here is the funny thing. Google shows the store open currently. On top of that, JoS A Banks's own website 'JoS. A. Bank Stores Near Me' shows the store open and a viable location as well? Now, I know I am going to get a 'please check the website for the latest info...' response. But when the website (which the company wants you to check for latest updates) is wrong, I have to go 1 star for inaccurate information.

God forbid you have to return anything to this store because the manager will shame you because “he can no longer sell it”. Even tho their return policy is very clear on what you can return within the 90 day policy.

Had a great experience with the nice staff at the Huntsville AL location. From walking in the door they graciously met all my needs in a timely "fashion" and had everything packed away and organized upon recipt. I looked great at my event and was extremely satisfied. 10/10 would reccomend.

1905 Made to Matter dress shirts are bulletproof. The corporation doesn’t have the best online UX, but the manager, Mark, makes up for it with an applied deliberate high-touch experience.

We were immediately greeted & assisted on a busy Saturday. The salesman was able to quickly get the correct size & a perfect jacket. Unfortunately, the pants needed tailoring & their tailor was 2 weeks out. They made a recommendation for a local tailor. This experience was consistent with our last experience in another state. It's a shame we couldn't get a suit that day, but we will continue to come here for the service & quality. Start here then go to the department store closeby & you'll understand! Went in here to look for some Oxford shoes and my consultant, Hayden, pointed me in the right direction. He helped me go through a couple of options and even recommended me a great speciality accessory to keep the shoes in good shape. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service, would definitely shop here again.

I went in looking for a couple of sweaters as well as some slacks. I was intending to spend $$. When I went in there were 3 employees and just 2 customers. It was obvious I was looking for something. At one point I was walking around holding a pair of pants. Not once did someone ask if I needed help. All three employees were hanging around the register. One was even eating. After a few minutes I got disgusted and left. I will never go back
