I received excellent service from the staff especially Chris Johnson. He was a good listener and found exactly the right vehicle for me. My SUV was priced right and I received a great price for my trade in. It was as pleasant as a car buying experience can be. I don't enjoy purchasing new vehicles so that says something.

On my second Subaru serviced by Landers McLarty since 2020. The service is second to none. My service advisor Haley, is always on top of her service appointment scheduling; as well as offering pertinent advice before service. She’s not selling anything, she wants to ensure her customers receive superior service and are completely satisfied after the service. The service technicians are some of the best I’ve ever encountered. The service staff is professional, prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. They take an authentic interest in their customers.

The Sales Associate, Ms Perez, was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. No pressure and no guilt. Really nice dealership, very spacious, very clean, friendly staff. We found the vehicle we wanted for the price we were willing to pay and we would definitely recommend this dealer and will definitely return to Landers McLarty when contemplating our next vehicle purchase. Overall it was a pleasure doing business with this organization.

Great customer service. Great communication. Identified the unusual cause of the problem within an hour and provided a loaner vehicle due to the length of the repair. They finished the repair a day early. My car works great.The service representative (Hayley) was amazing.Very impressed with this Subaru dealership and service department.

Chauncey, the sales manager was amazing! He was very attentive and kept me updated as I waited to test drive a vehicle. I’ve been to one dealership prior to coming here and did not have a good experience. However, I enjoyed my time at this dealership and have recommended to friends and family!

Fabulous service. My check engine light came on so I drove straight to the dealership without an appointment. They were able to fix the problem and had me back on the road in less than two hours. Plus, they gave me the information I needed to file a claim using my comprehensive insurance. This was a great service department experience.

The associates I had the fortunate opportunity to encounter were very kind and were helpful as well. They were very knowledgeable about what the car needed and didn’t push any unnecessary maintenance.My family and I were visiting grandparents in the area and we didn’t account the mileage vs what we had left before the next oil change. We were truly blessed to have been able to come to this Huntsville Subaru dealership and get the oil and tire rotation done. The car drives much smoother after the tire rotation and I’m at peace of mind knowing the oil was changed well also! Thank you very much, team!

Update to previous service review.Went in for a set of new OEM Yokohama tires, and came out with gouged rims and out-of-balance tires. I ended up having the tires rebalanced at a professional tire shop, and then brought the Outback back to this place to get the wheels touched up (as much as possible), only to have them attempt to rebalance the tires and gouge the wheels again - this time in different areas.Yep, that happened.Turns out 2 of the new tires were just factory bad and couldn't be balanced. When the dealership ordered 2 replacement tires for the 2 new bad ones, those ended up being bad, too. Verified via Road Test machine at the pro shop.I had the professional tire shop order another 2 replacement tires from a different distributor, and the Landers McLarty Subaru Service Manager was nice enough to order replacement wheels. Unfortunately, one of the replacement wheels was gouged in the box, so I had to find one of the least gouged of the original OEM wheels to keep.The professional tire shop - Warren Tire Pros, Tuscaloosa, AL - pulled the tires from the old wheels, installed the good tires on the new wheels, rebalanced everything, and confirmed alignment. Almost a month after starting this little adventure/nightmare, the car is drivable again. To their credit, the Landers McLarty Subaru Service manager apologized for the unusual experience and is going to reimburse me for the most recent tires purchased, and the labor cost from Warren Tire Pros to make things right.Contributing factors to the failures were unskilled technician(s) and an uncalibrated (or otherwise, unreliable) tire balancing machine at the dealership. I'm all for OJT, but there should be someone that knows what they're doing checking the work of the ones still learning. The wheel damage was just laziness not using the correct rubber cone when mounting the wheel on the balancing machine. The out-of-balance problem - one wheel had over 9oz of wheel weights installed - was just stupidity. The tire sidewalls state the pressure limit for mounting the tire on the rim, and the first time around, the right front tire was well above that limit. That's just someone that doesn't care. At all.According to one of the service writers, that tech is no longer employed at Landers McLarty Subaru.I watched the techs at Warren Tire Pros balance each wheel, and it's not that hard if you know what you're doing - and have the right equipment. Just a little time-consuming if you care about getting it right.I realize times are hard, and it's not easy finding people that have the aptitude to do the job, let alone pass a drug test. But, having gone through what I just went through... I'll drive 2.5 hours away to have tire work done right the first time rather than take either of my Subarus here, and I'll probably continue to do my own oil changes, carefully.For Subaru-specific work requiring a Subaru-certified tech, I'll take my Subis to a Subaru dealership. Just not 100% sure I'll take them here.

First-time buyer of a Subaru. Had been a lifelong Toyota owner. Test drove a Forester just to see what it was all about. Brandon Allen was so informative about every aspect of the brand/vehicle. But it was his genuine enthusiasm and love for the product he was selling that really made the difference for us. That, and the car is fun to drive! And we felt welcomed by every person we encountered during the process of completing the purchase. In all my years of car buying, if I've learned one thing, it's that building a relationship with your customer is paramount. And Brandon excelled at that. The whole team, Brandon, Chauncey, Nathan, and all others involved created a customer-centric experience. Great job guys!

As always my Subaru service appointment was great. In addition to the regular service, my battery had just died (it was 4 years old which is par for the course round here). I jump-started the car to get it to the service. The service itself took only around 1 hour and that included swapping out the battery, rotating the tires, changing the cabin air filter, plus a complementary car wash. Meanwhile I relaxed in the very pleasant customer area drinking a well-deserved coffee. If you have to have your car services, this is the way to do it :-)

We had a great experience buying our Subaru with Landers McClarty! Starting with Rod spending time showing us various cars, Amari going thru all the paperwork and teaching me how to work all the buttons and whistles, Brian buffing out some scratches and Daniel spending so much time with the final details, the whole experience was actually enjoyable! And I love my new car!
