First of all we waited about 15 min for a hat they had but did not have my size so I ended up not wanting anything bc I’m not spending money on something that isn’t going to fit me to my liking. So she let us out and said “idk why yall even came in and rolled her eyes” the customer service was horrible.

This location is horrible. Dude that works here keeps a barrier up and as you come in to shop won’t let you actually shop. He asks “who’s buying” if you don’t answer the way he wants, he won’t let you in. Horrible customer service. How the hell can a customer know that they want to buy something without him giving the opportunity to shop?! Dude needs a class in customer service cuz he’s lazy and literally kills sales because he won’t let anybody in the store DURING BUSINESS HOURS.

I just recently left from Lids to purchase an item. I am a Doctor and constant customer of Lids. I have just received the absolute worse service I have ever experienced. I went into Lids to purchase ahat for my father. Upon me about to check out I had to cough extremely bad. I handed my baby over to my spouse so that I could step out of the store to cough and with Covid, Flu, and other viral and bacterial infections going on. I also didn’t have a mask on me and didn’t want to spread germs. The manager on duty which is a tall African American man proceeded to tell me so rudely and Ill-Mannered to stay in or out. I asked him if he just didn’t want to be at work because before he spoke to me inappropriately, i stood at the desk to get my hat monogrammed for 3-4 minutes with him standing behind the beak before he even decided to acknowledge me. The only reason he acknowledged me is because I asked him who did I need to speak to in regards for getting a hat monogrammed. We processed to go back and forth and my spouse finally told me to just be quiet and let him have it because we had our daughter with us. I told him that I would be contacting the manager above him and he murmured and stated “he didn’t give a f**** the only good customer service I had was from the guy who checked me out. I have a video and picture of him. I will be reaching out to upper management and corporate first thing Monday morning.

Terrible customer service. I went by the LIDS in Parkway City mall to look at caps to purchase for my son's birthday but the entrance was blocked. I asked the clerk sitting near the register what time they opened. He said they were opened but would not allow me to enter. He asked me to tell him what I was looking for or if I was going to buy something. I told him that I was planning to buy if I saw something that I liked but did not like that I couldn't come in to look around. He said that was corporate policy. I 'm nearly 65 years old and had never been to that store. Also, there were no other customers around. I left never to return.

Worst customer service I’ve ever gotten, the guy up front with short cut hair African American guy must’ve thought I was stealing ( I felt horribly racially profiled ) because the alarm went off while I was taking a look at a hat and checking the fit in front of the mirror. He told me with a really firm voice with a feeling of authority “GET AWAY FROM THE MACHINE” all as I was just fitting the hat, so I left the store with a deep feeling of anger and having to swallow my pride. He was really aggressive and looked like he was ready to fight. FIRE this man

This store is absolutely the worse one I've ever been to. I travel across the country and to have this store close to my house is messed up. The laziest employees at this branch location. Online it says they close at 8pm even though the mall closes at 9pm. But these guys close the store at 7:20 pm?! Will never again vote to this one. Worse lids store !!!

Unfortunately I have to give this company a negative review. I have nothing even remotely good to say about the employees and their customer service or lack thereof. I went in to their Parkway Place mall location last night to exchange a hat I got as a gift from my girlfriend, as it was just a little too big for it to fit right. It was a bout half an inch bigger so I couldnt even wing it. I never wore it for the couple weeks that it sat in the original bag. Her and I walk in with the product and hand it to the sole employee there, who stated he was the store manager. He examined the hat thoroughly as if he were a CSI and looking for any clue or evidence of defect or tampering. He told me "I can't do nuthin' with this. I can't resell this." Shocked, I wondered what he saw that I didnt. This hat was literally pristine and the exact condition it left the store in. I attempted to ask him to reconsider. By the few moments I was in the store I could tell he was salty and visibly annoyed maybe at the fact that I was even in the store. It was near closing time and perhaps he had closed the till for the day. I couldnt be sure, but as a general rule I try to treat everyone with respect and go about completing my current task. My girlfriend, who came in with me picked up on this as well. She was evidently more upset about it than I was. She couldnt believe what this guy was saying. As she left the store she muttered under her breath a few choice words. So I turn back to the counter and put the hat back in and requested one last time, already knowing the inevitable response, for an exchange. Moments later I walk out of the store and turn right toward a dillards where I would exit the mall. There, I met my girl standing there visibly upset and aggravated that the emoyee, the "store manager" no less, would be so unreasonable and, quite frankly, rude toward us. As we were walking away I hear an incoherent yell. I dismissed it not thinking that it was of any importance. Then I hear it again. So I turn around to see this guy standing in the entranceway of the small retail space, where he had lowered the security gate a little bit to begin what Isurmised was shut down procedure for the night. He was standing there yelling toward me something I couldnt quite make out. So turned my head a little to hear better and said "Im sorry what was that you were saying?" In which he responded "What she say to me?" I turned, figuring the only person he could have been referring to was my girlfriend. She then asks me "What did he say?" I tell her that I think hes asking what you said when you left the store. She tells me "I said hes sorry as hell" I turn back to the "Lids manager" and say as a matter of factly "She said that youre sorry as hell" he responded in a less than friendly manner and shouts out "why dont ya'll say that to my face then yo!" I then immediately yell back , failing to hold back a chuckle at this guys paltry display of "tough guy" aggression "Ok. She said you you were sorry as hell!" after I said that I just stood there waiting to see what his next action would be in order to determine wether or not things would escalate. My guess would upon seeing my posture at the ready and not phased by his idiocy he determined that a physical confrontation was not in anyones best intrest. Before hastly shutting the store gate he yelled out "well yall aint gettin a new hate anyway" *gate slams* My girl and I turn toward the exit, not before letting out a boistrous laugh at how foolishly childish this guy was. I was left with a feeling dissapointment toward this company. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt and play devils adcocate often to my own peril. In this instance, this employee was clearly in the wrong. I dont think an injured, fragile ego should ever be cause enough for any employee, let alone some idiot who claims to be a store manger, to be aggressive toward customers. I really do wi
