Worst shop in Huntsville! Took my truck there for one thing they said could not find parts. When I went to pick it said another part was bad and they replaced it charge me $159 for something that was not even broke. Stay Away from this place!

Certain shady mechanics trying their hardest to over charge you especially when I went there to see what kind of issues where going on with my car awhile ago... They said it was a catalytic converter that needed to be replaced... A $1,500 (probably more) TO FIX A PROBLEM THAT WASN'T EVEN A PROBLEM SINCE I TOOK IT BILL PENNY TOYOTA AND IT WAS A PROBLEM THAT COST LESS THAN 300!!!!!!! Always double check before allowing certain mechanics say it's this extremely costly problem when it really wasn't

This place is trash one guy sleep on the couch another guy on computer...I call them to get a tire plug told me it would be 30 dollars...I get down there guy tells me I didn't call there they couldn't repair tire its in the block...thin he tilts wheel over ohh I can't do it cause its custom wheel....which one is it...just say you don't want to do...ohh Google maps had me at the right place...leave there go down the street Mavis tires got the tire fix smh....this isn't the 1st time this has happened to me a few months ago wanted to get a timing belt done on a acura tl gave me a price over the phone 1000 dollars...get down there ohhh wait it 1400 dollars now...I want ever go there again

Got my AC compressor and switch replaced and refilled. Pricey of course, but not horrible. Friendly staff. However, I got a call that my car was finished, so had my pregnant wife drive me up there. Got there, was rang up for a different customers car (much lower price than what I owed), payed MY ticket, sat for another 15-20 minutes while they "finished up." Nothing crazy, but still, call when it's ACTUALLY finished.
Update: The AC was not even fixed. I had to take it back to the shop.
Update update: They found a couple of leaks that they missed, the switch they put in went bad so they replaced that, added more refrigerant, and it lasted us to Florida (about 6 hrs). Now that we are here for a WEEK vacation, it went out once again. Would not recommend ANYONE go to Midas. Horrible experience all around. Now my pregnant wife and 7 year old get to enjoy the Florida heat. Thanks Midas (obviously sarcasm)
