Regardless of the reviews, I strongly advise against visiting this location. Over the past few months, from October to present, I have spent $2800 at this particular location. Having been a loyal customer for approximately three years, I am extremely dissatisfied with the services I received for the first time. On January 17, I had a brake job done, and a week later, my brakes were squeaking. Upon returning to the location, I was informed that the squeaking was due to the new brakes, which was unacceptable. Two weeks later, the squeaking persisted, and I also reported a concern about a noise when turning my steering wheel to the right. During my third visit, they inspected my car and informed me that I needed to replace a control bar and other components, which I assumed would resolve the issue. This visit cost me almost $1400. However, after picking up my car, I continued to hear the same noise. Upon returning the next day, I was told that no one could find the noise I reported, which was frustrating and confusing. Feeling misled, I decided to take my car to another location for inspection. The results revealed that I needed to replace my struts, address a ball joint issue, and get an alignment, which I had done the previous week. Additionally, there was a problem with my tire, and my brakes were worn 30% and 50%, despite having a brake job done just three weeks prior. It is clear that these issues existed prior to my previous visit, and I am extremely upset about the subpar service I received from Midas. As someone who relies on their vehicle for gig work, I understand the importance of regular maintenance. However, it is unacceptable for a business to jeopardize not only my life but also the lives of others who ride with me. When I revisited Midas, I was met with dismissive excuses, which were unacceptable given the amount of money I had spent. I was told that the other business would say anything to get my business, but I expect a higher level of service from Midas. As a customer, I rely on the expertise of the service providers, and it is their responsibility to correct any issues. I strongly advise against patronizing this location, as they do not prioritize doing business correctly. I have lost a significant amount of money due to their subpar service, and my preference would be to receive a refund for the labor costs. I will never return to the University Drive location again and will share my disappointing experience with acquaintances.
