Review:We recently moved to the area and my daughter and I wanted to check out the shops downtown. We were browsing through clothing when an employee approached us and informed us that the plus size clothing was in another section. I didn't appreciate her "helpful" tip as neither my daughter or I require plus size clothing. A more tactful way to phrase it might have been to ask if we were finding what we needed. I definitely didn't appreciate her passive aggressive attempt to body shame us and I will not be shopping there again.

I've never had a proprietor be less interested in taking my money. All I wanted was to get a gift but she wanted to shake her wrists at me when I needed help. My money is green like it should be but that didn't stop the manager from acting like I'm bothering her when I tried to get her professional opinion to select something. Kept looking down her nose at me and sighing when I asked questions. Maybe she was having a bad day but I left.

I will never go back there! The saleswoman was curt, rude, and unprofessional. She talked to my mother and I like we were trash.I asked where the dressing room was, and she didn't show me, but merely pointed. I walked to the back of the store, and opened a door that I thought may be a dressing room, which actually was a storage closet. She then told us, after trying on 4 pieeces, to go to the back of the store and retrieve the items we didn't want so she could "count them." As if we were thieves?? I asked if the sale price could be applied to 2 pieces rather than 4. Without looking up, she replied "No." Not smiling or greeting us one single time. Come to find out, she was the owner!! No wonder there wasn't a single soul in the store. Disappointed. Haven't been treated that rudely in as long as i can remember. Beware!!

I was sorry to see some of the negative reviews. We had quite the opposite experience. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. I am assuming it was the owner (not sure) immediately started helping my daughter pick out dresses and put a couple of cute outfits together for her. The clothes were adorable and very affordable. We will definitely be back.

Similar to a previous reviewer, I like to support local boutiques and decided to wander through Silhouette today. Not only was I unimpressed with their selection, but the woman working completely ignored me and was downright rude to my mother when she asked a question. There are too many other boutiques in town with better selection and nicer employees, and I will be taking my business to them instead.

I had a similar situation as Ann P. Several times I tried making polite conversation, (with the heavy set girl with glasses) & at first I thought that maybe, she was just an awkward person- not easy to converse with. That theory was quickly put to rest. She was just rude. When I first got to the store & was in a good mood, I asked the girl if it was her store. When she said that it was, I was a little surprised, only because she seemed so young. I had about 4 items that I was ready to purchase; not a huge amount, but $200 is a lot to me. By this time, so many little snide things had happened- see Ann P. comment- I decided not to give her a penny. I set my items down, & said to her that she wouldn't be in business for 3 more years if she continued to treat customers this way. (Earlier, at a failed attempt to start a nice conversation, I asked how long she had been in business at this location, to which she said 3 years.) She yelled at me, as I walked out.. YELLED. "You should see our numbers!" I couldn't believe it. Also, everything was made in China.

Cute clothes, definitely on the cheaper side. Been in a few times, sweet, cute helpful college student working. Very helpful. Went in today in hopes of picking up some simple dresses for Spring Break. I tried to make small talk to heavier set girl in glasses, and I was speechless. I asked her about some of the clearance items, because I was curious as to why there were 4 of the same dress or 3 of the same shirts...just making small talk. I presumed she'd just answer me & we'd have a normal conversation. She looked at me like I was speaking in a foreign language and repeatedly said "I don't know what you mean, what are you talking about?" It was as if I was trying to explain something to a twelve year old who was being very difficult. I just didn't know what to do after that. I felt incredibly uncomfortable, so I left and went to the Pink Pelican. Granted I did spend much more than I had planned on spending in the. - the customer service & atmosphere were definitely worth a little extra $$$$. Silhouette is full of a bunch of garbage which looks like it's a season or two out. not to mention I would never ever support a business that employs such poor mannered employees. I know this is a rude comment to make, but you sales associates should be able to "market" your merchandise by wearing it. The customer service rep was so rude to me & was definitely not a polished business rep. Don't waste your time in this low end wanna be boutique.

I am a big fan of boutiques and local businesses, but the people there were rude. I will not shop there again.
