This is like one of those Greek restaurants that you find in a tiny town? For some reason, there's just better food there than than in a Greek restaurant in a big city. Bear with me. This is one of the smaller gas station convenience stores in the area, yet it boasts a fantastic selection of beer and wine for the discerning palette. More so, then some larger stores situated in the same area. I spent years in a capital city in a state a couple hours away; these stores were gems. You would go out of your way to go to a small store like this because there was greater retention with the employees so you could get to know them and the stock was unique because it was being bought by human being instead of a giant machine.
This seems to also be the hub of some invisible social network in five points. I run into people that I know at the gas pumps and I don't even live there! People honk their horn at me while I'm standing by the gas pump. I can't see the invisible strings that seem to pull everybody to this small parcel adjacent to a really funky intersection but they are there. Go there on a Friday night and pick out a special libation for you and your friend. Or maybe just you with the sunset somewhere you have a date with. I think you'll be glad that you did.

I went into this establishment in November of 2024 to buy an item that was 21+. After going to the counter and getting a strange look by the attendant, I was asked for my ID. I look young, so of course I’m used to people asking for my ID. What I was not pleased with is the way the clerk handled my ID. He started bending it and inspecting it like it was fake. Then, he stated he could not sell the item to me because my ID was from Tennessee and “could be fake” since my DOB was 2002. My ID is 100% real. It’s ridiculous that the clerks here do not understand simple ways to check to see if an ID is real. I will never be returning to this establishment and I warn anyone that looks young and has an out of state ID to find somewhere else to do business. Huntsville is a boarder city with Tennessee, so it’s not uncommon to have Tennesseans in town.

Wow found this on Google Reviews! Man didn’t know you did pop-up venues! Congrats man.
Early April Fools Y’all! They don’t serve plates of food (bummer). At Sunoco they enable customers to have nice experiences at the shop by finding great a selection of “may I check your ID” beverages and just about any other refreshment style drinks too (water!,coke, pepsi, electrolytes & energy drinks) and great experiences where they are headed next with the products sold and kindness behind the counter that spills into the community! [Such as: A former employee of the BP days recently moved to a new home and our Sunoco 5 Points Dan provided them nutritious meals as he knew they would need to refuel as they unpacked! We stopped by to see the new digs/pad and they shared a meal of what Dan brought and it was yummy!
I’ll look & seek for some photos taken at the shop and add them to my Early April fools day joke.

Best gas station and convenience store in Five Points. The crew behind the counter keeps it clean and quick. Stop by for wine or a cold drink. Fairly safe stop too.
