Amy and Dana went the extra mile for me. Not every worker would have did this. Even though I didn’t buy, they treated the customer right in this case. I highly recommend:)

I bought glasses from Walmart with Nikon lenses, warrantied for two years against scratches. Well I got scratches on my lenses quicker than any glasses I’ve ever had. They ordered a new lense on January 23rd. It is now March 17th and I still don’t have my new lense. They say they have to wait for Nikon to send it and there’s nothing they can do. Very poor service.

Dr Barnes and his staff are the best! They went above and beyond catering to my son's first eye exam experience. Very detailed and explained everything clearly for my son to understand his near sited issues (35 years myself in contacts/glasses and not one had ever broken down any details about my exams). Thank you, you have gained a couple forever customer!

Note to anyone who has glasses, DON'T get your lenses made at Walmart. I had lenses for 4 years that stayed clear and besides scratches I caused myself are still usable. I got mine made at Walmart and in under 5 months the lenses are so scratched and hard to see through from routine cleaning they're damn near worthless. I tried to exchange them under their damaged policy that's supposedly 12 months and they refused. In concluding Walmart optical sucks.

I highly recommend Dr. Barnes and his staff. Everyone from the front desk all the way to the Doctor himself. I'vee been to this location in 2013 and the staff is so much better. Even his assistant, who is not a doctor but administers all the pretesting was very knowledgable about the equipment and how our eyes work even though it's not particularly necessary. As soon as I filled out paper work, I was brought into the back, so virtually no wait. Not only that but you can't beat the pricing. Same products and better service for a lower price. They have the lastest technology such as the OptoMap(?) service. Basically for 35$ extra you can opt for this service to avoid Dilation which only provides a 30 degree view of your eyes and can miss serious things like a detatched retina and other maladies. OptoMap misses nothing with a 200 degree view of your eyes. It was easy and worth it as I have a thin retina myself and need monitoring. Last year, I paid more and went to Schaeffer, waited over an hour to be seen and the staff wasn't particulary friendly about it. At this location, I feel like everyone was taking care of me, and I could trust their diagnosis because they are so knowledgeable. I could go on forever about the high quality service. DO come to this location!!!

I just came back from having an eye exam and picking out frames at this location. Dr. Barnes was professional, thorough, and has a great personality. Diana was very pleasant as she took me through the pre-exam. And Amy diligently worked with my insurance providers to get as much paid for as possible.I've never had such a pleasant experience with an optical visit!
