I shouldn't be surprised at all be the way the manager Gregg acted, it's my fault for using an off brand bank in a Walmart. Gregg was rude an unable to understand why my last name had changed...... I showed Id with my maiden name and my married name but this guy lacked the capacity to make the connection. He was very condescending and told me my husband should take care of it. It's my account. I was finally able to make the deposit after about 20 minutes of arguing with this man. Clearly he thinks woman are beneath him, I won't be back.

Gave us a problem cashing a check. Wanted to charge us to give for a cashier's check or money order. Said they didn't have the cash to cash the check. After they realized they could not give us a money order or cashier's check because of the size, they all of a sudden had the cash. Glad we got the check cashed. Will not bank with them or accept checks from their bank again.

Woodforest treats their employees like sh...t. The pay is very low but the goals and expectations are unreasonably high. They fired someone for not following a business process that managers were guilty of doing themselves. This was a very good employee too who had worked for the bank for 3 years with all positive performance reviews. And then to add salt to the wound they wouldn't let her collect unemployment and she was due a $200 bonus for making her goal but they wouldn't pay her that either. She's 64 so it's possible her age had something to do with it. She was making $13 an hour and now she has no income. And we wonder why there are so many homeless people! Shame on you Woodforest.

It says there is a Woodforest bank at this location, but there is none! Waste of gas.!

Always open and as good of service as most banks, plus daily e-mails showing balances and any activity to your accounts.

Have had an account here for about 2 & 1/2 years. Not have had any issues with any of the tellers or the manager. I like the fact that I get an email EVERY day posting any activity in my account. I am notified by email, when my check to bank occurs. I can view this account in (and did) in Switzerland and moved money from savings to checking, online, in 5 seconds. Keep up the good work. PS, if you have credit issues, you may have issues opening an account. They will run a credit check on you, prior to opening an account.

Helpful, hardworking branch manager took time to open my joint account with my wife. Unlike any other bank in the area, Woodforest has Sunday business hours. Play by the rules, and this is a no-fee bank. Step outside the lines, and fees add up quickly.

I been with them for about two years, always been nice, and helpful, and really understanding when their is a problem and help you with any questions or security issues you might have.
