WARNING. Shady practices. Very nice people but after today I will not be going back. I told the lady multiple times “come check with me if the air filter needs changing and I’ll let you know if I’ll do it or not”. Then I get the bill after waiting 2 hours for an oil change. The lady says we did oil and air filter changed. And I say wait I thought you were going to check in with me about the air filter? Yea but you signed off on it. I’m sorry but what part of come check with me do you not understand. Very shady and did not appreciate that. I have no idea if my filter needed replacing. Not to mention they wanted $80 to reset the oil light. It’s 5 button clicks are you serious? I do not trust BMW of Birmingham with my car. Especially in the past. I’ve had things broken and things not put back correctly. Then told it was my fault. Not to mention people stalking my car multiple times. Really disappointed.

BMW of Birmingham and Trey (salesman) made it so easy! I literally walked in, drove the car, and walked out with it in about 1.5 hours. Highly recommend! Trey was very knowledgeable and really made the process super easy! The finance department also was amazing and so quick! I can’t say enough great things about them!!!

I bought a 2015 Dodge @ the BMW dealership. The staff was very friendly, almost bought a BMW, just 40 grand short. CJ and J were also and made he process go very smoothly. I have only had the car a couple of days and it rides as promised. I feel like i got a great deal and car. Shot out to BMW, In the future I will be back for one of theirs.Thanks!!!

I just picked up new ride from here and had a great experience.I live in Austin and found a good deal on a car I had been eyeing for awhile. I called in and talked to Mike M. He made the process process easy peasy while the finance team coordinated with my bank.I flew in and received a swift and friendly purchasing process from Marion. I DID NOT get hit with a bunch of useless dealer fees or a drawn out process to try and extract more money. I was in and out within 30 minutes and on my way back home. All-in-all I was pleasantly surprised.

I purchased my new BMW X5 on August 7, 2023. I was happy with the experience and the purchase then and I’m even more happy today! Elliott Moorer assisted me with my purchase. My experience with Elliott was nothing less than first class. Elliott was professional, courteous, highly knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. Not sure why so many people have given this dealer such high ratings, they must have not been to any other BMW dealerships. I give this a one star because my service experience was unbelievable. First off, they really need to stop telling everyone the same story that their vehicle qualifies for the 3 year unlimited oil change promotion going on. This oil change is valid once a year or every 10,000 miles which is misleading. I get my oil change ever 3-5K miles since I have an N20 which has been known to have time chain failure. With more frequent oil change intervals you can save the engine in the long run. Second an oil change doesn't cost 180 dollars, not for me or for anyone thats not in an M car. I have had my BMW for years and haven't paid over 100 dollars on an oil change so them trying to charge me 180 dollars on an oil change is outrageous. The service specials online don't change and the oil change coupon has been on every BMW website for years. It is so obvious they just want to make as much money off of you as they can. Third, when asking the parts department about a spare part I needed to replace on my car, they quoted me 380 dollars more then another dealership for the same part. I was shocked to say the least and the parts lady just looked at me when I asked her why such a difference in price with no response. They also shouldn't wash cars if they can't even dry them off. I care and take care of my car but for it to come out looking dirtier then when I brought it in and full of water spots is par for the course with my experience. Overall just not a very good experience. Lastly get some coke and sprite like every other BMW dealership, coffee and water makes this place seem even cheaper they they are while also trying to rob you dry.

I must say that my wife, daughter and I received the best assistance and service at Sonic BMW with our purchase of our 2014 GMC YUKON. The vehicle looks, runs and drives excellently. We were very pleased during the entire purchase process.

First of all, I wish I could give the team at BMW of Birmingham 10 stars. My entire experience from start to finish was so easy and smooth, and very pleasant. I was on a tight timeline to order a car, and called several BMWs to see if anyone can help me order a custom built X3, and Birmingham stepped up!! Gus helped me through the ordering process, and communicated with me every step of the way. I was never left wondering what was going on. He was always extremely helpful and if I had any questions, he would jump on it right away. I never felt pressured into upgrades, was never unsure of any part of the process, and felt very comfortable with me decision to purchase a new car. The communication throughout was excellent. Five short weeks later I drove in from Florida to pick up my car. Gus was not able to be there for the delivery, but had everything ready and set up for an easy transition. He organized for another associate to help me. Kareem was the man!! He was so personable, easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor throughout the process. He was very well informed with everything regarding my process, and got me set up and into my car in no time. He easily walked me through all the ins and outs of my new car, and got me comfortable with my app and settings. Next up in the process was all the paper work and money stuff with Marion the business manager. Man, what an easy process. He was very organized and had everything ready for me. He went over all my maintenance plan options with me, and never made me feel pressured into picking any plans that I wouldn't need. He spoke very highly of BMW in general, and made me feel very comfortable with my decision.I have to say that I cannot find or comment on a single part of this process that was negative or concerning, and I feel extra blessed and grateful to have been taken care of by such an amazing team. I left there feeling like a part of the family, and feel safe knowing that I have good support in the future with all my BMW needs.I will gladly drive 4 hours out of my way again to purchase my next car from these guys! Thank you!!

I needed a service for my car, the online process was pretty smooth and I was able to get an appointment really quick. I took my car on Tuesday and my car was done by the next day!I want to say Thank you to Mr Preston Morse! He make sure I had a good experience during this stressful process he made sure I was able to get everything straight up with my warranty, He was very communicating answers all my questions very quick and professional.You can tell that he loves what he do.I will share his business card here!! I had the absolute best experience with Mrs. Valerie Wallace while purchasing my latest BMW vehicle. She is very knowledgeable and displayed such high levels of professionalism the entire time. She was accommodating to my needs and she went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best prices, rates and ultimate experience making this purchase. More importantly she was so patient and did a great job answering all of my questions. Had a great experience, was interested in a used car they had on the lot. Went to just check it out, definitely able to negotiate a price I was willing to pay for the car. Overall very happy with the outcome. Even the used cars feel brand new, they definitely serviced the car and put brand new tires on it. Everyone there is welcoming and friendly. Besides the long wait it was a great experience.

I was here again last week to pick up my BMW X5 that I custom ordered 3 weeks ago. This was my second purchase at this dealership with salesperson Valerie Wallace. Just like my first purchase, this second was just as great. Valerie is an amazing person and salesperson. She listens to what you want, gives you the options available and explains everything perfectly! I've bought many vehicles in the past, but none of those experiences compare to the ones I've had at BMW of Birmingham with Valerie Wallace. I felt like family and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I will be back for future car services and purchases. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership and the sales person Valerie Wallace!!

Great customer service from the walk in the door to the delivery of the vehicle, my sales professional Zach helped me find the car of my dreams as well as ordered my next one in the same visit , I visited 3 dealerships before visiting this store and Zach was the only person to treat me well and allow me to test drive vehicles while other dealers wouldn’t let me bc of my age and appearance. That goes a long way in my book and I won’t do business anywhere else but here ! Also the new car sales manager was able to get me a great rate and rebates on this vehicle to help fit my budget , the finance manager was quick and efficient, also the car was full of gas when I took delivery and detailed . My M4 competition is awesome and I can’t wait to see the m3 in a few months , thank you again !

Answered our questions candidly with disarming honesty, and guided us to the right vehicle for our needs. We were able to directly negotiate with the Sales Manager (Tony), which streamlined the process, eliminated needless back-and-forth discussions. Marion clearly laid out our options for car protection, which we could engage as we saw fit. We got a good deal and felt valued as both customers and people. I'd return to purchase my next vehicle with enthusiasm.
