Great experience . Rich Quarles was our salesman, he was VERY patient and if he didn’t have an answer to our questions he would find out. I had no clue what I wanted and finally decided after multiple visits. Rich and Jonathan Harris were both great !

The service department of Lexus of Birmingham has some of the worst customer service I have come across. I bought a used car from there almost 3 years ago with a 5 year warranty. The car I bought was not a Lexus but seeing I bought it from there I decided to call them to see what I needed to do. After an excessive time on hold the first time I was hung up on. After the second time I left a message with no return call. The next day when I called again I had the pleasure with talking to a very rude person who wouldn’t even let me talk and cut me off saying they couldn’t help. I am fed up with this dealership. The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because my salesman was extremely nice. It seems though that once they sell you a car they don’t care about you at all. Think twice before buying a car from here especially if you don’t buy one of their precious Lexus.

Do not take your car here for headlight bulb replacements. The staff is very polite, but the mechanics will mess up your car and/or leave tools in the engine compartment.

My fiancé and I walked into the dealership ready to trade in a vehicle as well as purchase. First we told a sales associate who had worked with us in the past and was never connected with him to continue our sales process. SO essentially they stole business from their own team member. What made our situation even worse was that during our negotiation Scott Walker, a sales Manager at Lexus, came to the table during negotiation and proceeded to show us the door without an explanation as to why. His behavior was unprofessional, prejudice and not the LEXUS way of performing customer service. He should be under review for his actions but SONIC Automotive does not care enough to even clean up their own signage let alone care about the customers they work with.

I have called and requested info on a vehicle. Sales rep said she would get back to me asap. Three hours latter I called to follow up, only to find out by the receptionist that the car is sold. I believe it was advertised on a nonexistent vehicle. Good old used car sales techniques. What a pitty that they still exist.

Lexus of Birmingham was amazing! I have a new outlook on car sales! We went in simply to test drive because to be honest, I’m not a big fan of sales people. My experience in the past has been that they tend to hover and they’re pushy. I’m an introvert, so I’m not a fan of that. Enter Rich! He was the complete opposite of that and it was wonderful! He brought me EXACTLY what I asked for (in two colors) and didn’t try to overly push anything else!! I loved that because I felt like he was listening to MY needs. He HEARD me, respected what I said, and I value that a LOT. He was honest when answering questions instead of giving me a “sales pitch.” The experience was actually fun and pleasant vs going to battle over what I do and don’t want and leaving exhausted! Rich was attentive and made sure we were taken care of and comfortable the whole time. Needless to say, my simple test drive turned into driving away with a new GX460, my perfect car!! Thanks so much, Rich Quarles, for making the experience upbeat, honest, and pleasant!! We appreciate you!

So far, I highly recommend using Lexus of Birmingham for purchasing a used car. They were decently priced compared to other dealers and there was no haggling. So far I am very pleased with my purchase. Thank you guys for all of your help during this purchase

Let me just start by saying… one of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had!! Justan was freaking AWESOME, and worked to ensure I was satisfied every step of the process. Justan was very attentive to my wants, and aimed to create a positive, extraordinary car buying experience for me.While the car was being pulled out of detail, a screw was found in the tire. The GM approved to replace the tire immediately and the technician worked until after 7:30pm to get the new tire added/balanced. I couldn’t have asked for a better dealer to not only get me into the vehicle of choice, but to create an exceptional experience. I truly appreciate everyone involved to make this seamless, but a huge SHOUT-OUT to Justan! He’s one of the best and will definitely do what it takes to earn your business. ? This guy deserves lunch, or even a promotion!

Complete struggle to get sales Rep on the phone. Out of state purchases are extremely difficult to coordinate with this dealership.Assigned sales associate did not keep in touch and dropped the ball on the car I wanted to buy. Had he worked efficiently, I would have been able to purchase the vehicle, but it was sold after 6 business days of me calling and requesting information and paperwork to fill out. Even offered to put down deposit on the car. Did not even have the decency to call me and let me know the car had sold, had to call 5 times and leave voicemails (and get hung up on!). Finally, a human being answered and I found out my time was wasted.Getting things done was like pulling teeth, if you can’t walk into the dealership don’t even bother trying.

The WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I have been trying to get a car for 3 weeks now and never heard anything back. I was the one who had to reach out and see what was going on!?!?!? The salesmen are very LAZY and DO NOT care at all about helping you buy a car! They do not communicate with you AT ALL !!! If you don’t have any money to put down you pretty much will never hear from them again. I thought my experience would be wayyyyyyy BETTER than this!!! Oh, the salesman kept telling me that they didn’t have a lot of inventory and was trying to put me in something old but expensive, NO THANK YOU! I will happily take my best elsewhere. THEY NEED TO SHUT THIS LOCATION DOWN ASAP!

Took my 08 ls460 in for a diagnostic. I called the day of and spoke to a lady who was very nice, assured me they could fit me in same day. I got there and met with Nick Bowlin who was my service advisor on this visit. He was extremely nice and helpful. Nick went above and beyond to help me and answer my questions. My expectations when taking a used 15 year old car to the dealer were not great to say the least, but Nick made the experience a great one and for that I will definitely be using Lexus of Birmingham again in the future!

Bad review based on poor communication.I emailed to get service on vehicle and never heard back. Waited a week.Called, got transferred to service and left a message. Never heard back.Booked appointment elsewhere.Would love to take my car here, I just can’t get an appointment.

Let my start by saying that the Service Team Rocks. Kevin treated me like family which meant the world to me. I started having issues with my ES 350 Lexus and I spoke with Kevin on Thursday and he handled the situation like a pro. That same day I dropped my car off and a loaner car was ready for me as well. Friday evening Kevin called to let me know that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I picked up my baby all clean and running great. Keep in mind Kevin was able to do all of this in one day without an appointment which meet my expectations and more. Lexus treated me not just as a customer, but as family. Which made me feel so special, and important. I just want to say thanks to my Lexus Family for going over and beyond for me. May God continue to bless you all and continue to give you the heart of caring for others. Lexus of Birmingham is the Worst dealer, we have ever taken our Lexus RX 350, for service. We just moved into the Birmingham area in November of 2022. We always serviced our vehicle at Lexus of New Orleans and felt comfortable and trusted them with our vehicle.After taken our vehicle to Lexus of Birmingham our convenience in Lexus of Birmingham fell apart. We took our vehicle for a oil change and tire rotation. They forgot to Tighen the lug nuts on all 4 wheels. We heard a loud noise while driving our vehicle and discovered that our lug nuts were loose. This is my wife vehicle and it scared the he'll out of us. This could have been bad.We contacted the general manager of Lexus of Birmingham and he advised us he would get back to us. We never received a call from him.We believed in the brand , Lexus and Lexus of Birmingham failed us and the Lexus family.
