“Hello, My name is Prince Hardy and I'm writing this to inform the bakery managers Edmund Joseph and Michael Parish on how such a horrible experience turned into a wonder experience. On January 17,2024 I came into the Lee Branch location to order a special birthday cake. I showed the representative the picture of what I was wanting and they insured me that they could make something similar to what I showed them. At that time I set the cake to be picked up on Friday January 19th @ 4:00pm. January 19th comes and I running a little late due to work but I get to the store around 5:30pm. When I arrive I was greeted and the representative went back to get the cake. IT WAS 100% HORRIBLE. Another representative that was working in the back (now I know to be Emmiline) saw the expression on my face and came to assist. Emmiline looked at the cake and the first thing she said to me was "IM SORRY, DO YOU HAVE 10 MINS SO I CAN MAKE THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?" I told her yes and showed her exactly what I was wanting. Emmiline made the exact cake with the exact colors that I was wanting in literally 10 mins. Due to Emmiline's AMAZING customer service and wiliness stop what she was doing to fix an issue that could have ruined a birthday, I will definitely be back. THANK YOU!”
“I’m not one to leave bad reviews. There was an employee who was in the parking lot and pulled right in front of me in the wrong direction. If cameras are there and you care to examine it, it was on the left side looking at the front of Publix. Customer service made this right. When I came up to the register which I didn’t know was hers, she walked away and refused to bag my groceries at the register. I see sick patients all day, and it’s just the last thing I needed to end the day. This just happened 15 minutes ago. Whoever she was I didn’t get her name. I really don’t want her in trouble but mouthing off to me and arguing with me in the parking lot wasn’t professional. Thank you customer service for bagging my groceries and being kind to me and not so to her. She was very disrespectful. I don’t expect that ever. I’ve never had issues with Publix, but tonight I was disappointed.”

“This is my "go to" for meats and delivery service. The store is always clean and shelves are neatly stacked. The manager and employees don't point in a direction when you ask where to find an item, they actually walk with you to the location. They are a bit pricey, but I prefer quality.”
“Publix is always reliable. Best flowers for your dollar for the Mrs. And the food is legendary across the southeast. I never go for groceries because I prefer the lower prices at Walmart. But Publix offers great BOGO's and birthday freebies. Excellent service is always to be expected as well.”

“It's 70% of a regular Publix for 130% of the money. Everything is there, just less of it. Dedicated parking in a deck above. Elevator that opens in the store.The street level pedestrian door is sometimes guarded by beggars and story-tellers. This same demographic takes turns using the store restrooms. This isn't an unusual circumstance if you frequent 2024 Urban America, but folks that think were still a polite, logical society might be disturbed.Prices are Urban High but not crazy. The hot food areas are busy.Just, be aware you are downtown in a metro rather than in 'Publix' and you'll be OK. Oddly, the parking deck is never a problem.Yet.”
“This is a very conveniently located Aldi for me in Crestwood. If you want the lowest prices on practically everything, Aldi is your store. I came here last week but they were not well stocked. There was hardly any meat or produce so I had to buy a lot of substitutes from my normal go to items.”

“I love shopping at Aldi for bread and certain other items. It's always a mystery if they will have what I need in stock. But I guess the ever-changing stock keeps things interesting. They do carry a variety of plant-based items that I like.”
“First time shopping here, overall I did save money. This is a good option if you're not brand loyal. I would prefer a larger selection, but I definitely saved money on meat and fruit.”
“The lady that came to help me at the deli counter knew we were going to have a language problem, so she called a young lady off her break to help us. She came over and took care of our order and was very pleasant. You have yourself a great team member there.”

“The pharmacists and pharm techs at the Vestavia City Center Publix are absolutely fantastic. Very helpful, clear communicators, and friendly. The pharmacy always seems to be stocked and well-run; only had an issue w/ filling rxs once or twice and those times were because of nationwide supply chain problems.”

The energy each staff member gives off is about the same, which is a bit unsettling, but besides that, there's lots of decent deals everywhere you look. The Publix generic brand groceries are also really tasty for a good price! I recommend their BBQ chips, they're really well seasoned.”

Fruits that main stream grocery stores don't have they have (Rambutan, Soursop, persimmons just to name a few) also they have these plantain chips that I can only find here along with coconut hibiscus Malta!”

“Great prices! Don't be afraid of brand names you don't recognize, most are just as good as the familiar products. Bring your own shopping bags and a solid quarter to unlock a shopping cart. Staff is very cordial considering how they are constantly busy because they are multitasking. Employees will sometimes pause restocking to open a register. If you are patient and self reliant you can enjoy savings that seem too good to be true!”
“This restaurant is off the beaten path and connected to an oriental market. It has a big variety of entree options. As I walked in, I saw people at tables with lots and lots of food. I wondered why there was so much good on the table for two people. Once I ordered, I realized why? The portions are huge. I think every entree is sharable. They have more noodle options than lo mein and chow mein. The other person in my party had the sweet and sour shrimp. They were huge! I recommend the cabbage. It was good. My youngest son loved it with the rice (leftovers). I also had a pretty good craft beer. The server was very attentive and friendly. After lunch, we visited the market. I purchased two green tea drinks that were delicious! It was a pretty good vibe. I think I'll take the family back.”

“I love the layout of the new location. It seems like it's more bigger than the other Publix around town. I was in the area and I figured I'll stop by to get a few things. I ended up trying 2 samples of food which was good. I purchased some Cajun shrimp, Cherry Vanilla Coke Zero and some Publix brand of sour worms candy. It's no secret that Publix is high, but they always have bogo deals. The cashier that rung me up was pleasant and friendly. I didn't get a chance to explore the whole store, but I'll definitely be back in the near future”
