Alex and Danny were super friendly, got me right in, and were clearly very knowledgeable. While they patched my tire, they even took the time to explain in detail how the patch works. I've never had a shop do that! Even with that great explanation, I was still out the door in less than 15 minutes.
The best part? When I went to pay, they said it was on the house as a goodwill gesture. I was blown away. What a perfect example of true Southern Hospitality! Honest, kind, and fast.

“This auto repair shop is fantastic. The owner, Danny Bedgood, is an automotive guru! I was visiting family in town and had a warning light go off. He squeezed me in and had me all fixed up for our long drive back home. I wish so much that I had access to a place like this where I live! I'm telling all my family members who own Toyotas to definitely take their cars to Danny! Can not recommend highly enough. (One person says that they drive 4 hours to get Danny to work on their car. All I can say is that I get that!)”
“We traveled from Maryland for the Thanksgiving holiday and needed some work done on our Volvos prior to driving back home. The owner Alex, waited for us to arrive although it was near to their closing time. Once we arrived he was efficient and knowledgeable about our cars. Repaired the Volvos and made sure sufficient air was in our tires in record breaking time. We drove back to Maryland without any issues. Great place with exceptional service! If we lived near Birmingham Alex at GTech would be our only mechanic!! Two thumbs UP!!”

“M&B transmissions are the most honest mechanics we have encountered in years. My 2019 Toyota Avalon had been serviced by 2 local
Toyota dealers who have probably robbed us for years. We always ended up paying more than recommended service when we took our car in. After being told that our car needed a new transmission ($10000) or we could trade it in on a new vehicle, we had had enough. I told them my car had NEVER had any transmission slipping or missing until they did a flush that was recommended. M&B diagnosed my car and reset the computer codes and said they found nothing else wrong with the car. We have been driving the car for a week now with no trouble. And they charged NOTHING. That is honesty and we will be going to them for all your repairs from now on.”

“That's our 1993 Lexus LS 400 below--107K miles, and a wonderful car again, thanks to Marty's Transmission. "Thanks, Marty..." I said in a recent phone call to his shop "...it's 1993 again, and I'm driving a new Lexus. Smooth, excellent shifting, just like when it left the dealership 31 years ago. Well done!"
When I asked what had caused the transmission to fail, he held up a small disk with a crack in it. "This is what caused the problem. This particular year had an issue with this part. In the 1994 model, they strengthened this so it wouldn't happen."
It took a while, but Marty was able to carefully, thoughtfully, find all of the right parts from across the nation to properly rebuild this transmission. It hasn't been available from Lexus for years.

Furthermore, they provided detailed documentation on the work performed, as well as the issues with the transmission which was replaced. They turned what was looking like a month or more of a headache with the dealership into less than a week. I will absolutely use this shop again for other automotive services, not just transmission work.”
“I have only used Jim & Jim's Body Shop once at the recommendation of a former co-worker. I went there after calling because my driver side mirror was broken off. Instead of paying lots of money to have it replaced, they simply glued it back on. This didn't last very long unfortunately, but longer than having duct tape on my car. I eventually had to have the whole mirror replaced, but overall I was pleased with the work they did.
I didn't find the business rude by any means. They were a courteous staff, and got to work on my car as quickly as they could. I'm soon to have future body work needed on my car due to a car accident, and I'm considering using Jim & Jim's again because they are close to home, and I had a pleasurable experience during my last visit.”

Upon walking in, I was greeted by Mike and he was super attentive to my needs. He thoroughly explained what he needed to do and got to work on my diagnostic immediately.
