When we visited this Walmart, they were in the process of revamping the store. Even though things are getting moved, the store was clean and uncluttered.

Do NOT use your debit card with Walmart pay in this store! We went in on a Saturday to buy glasses. We had the glasses and a couple items from the pharmacy that we were going to use Walmart pay for. When processing, the cashier said it was asking for an alternate form of payment. I used a different debit card to purchase all of this stuff and a few other items that I was going to purchase separately. The problem, Walmart actually charged the first card and the second card. I’ve called to speak to a manager twice this week and haven’t been able to get them on the line. Customer Service “took my name and number” to give management. I haven’t received a call. I also called the 1-800-WALMART number since the transaction was Walmart pay. I was assured on Wednesday that I would have the refund by today. No refund, no contact from Walmart, nothing. Today, I’m filling disputes with both banks and will be cancelling Walmart +/ no longer shopping with them. It won’t hurt them, no doubt, but the thousands that I spend on groceries/goods from them will go to someone else. I don’t mind paying for products but I don’t intend to pay twice. Management, if you see this, you should consider seeing up voicemail on your phone lines.
Update: Day 9 and Walmart still has not refunded money to either account. Disputes will be filed with both banks today. Also, store management has been notified and will NOT own the issue. Calling Walmart’s customer support number is fruitless as well. Disputing the charges seems to be the only answer.

Overall good. Was able to park truck and go in and grocery shop, so I was really happy about that. The only downside was that the checkout flagged something and the 'not-a-cashier' ( my phrase) had no clue what got flagged. Only that age had to be verified. She didn't even tell me what she was doing. I was fixing to pay and she just jumped right in my way with no warning or explanation. Kinda ticked me off.

Yesterday, my wife and I visited the Jackson, Alabama Walmart store it is a location that is about 30 miles away from our house, making it a less frequent shopping destination for me. However, I did notice a few unique items that this Walmart carries, like lactose-free half-and-half, which I have struggled to find at our local Walmart in Thomasville. This particular item is essential for my cream dishes, so it was a pleasant surprise to have access to it at this store.During my visit, I observed that the shelves seemed to be quite picked over, especially since we were there close to 5 o’clock in the afternoon. This is understandable considering the volume of people shopping at that time. What stood out to me the most was the different atmosphere at this Walmart compared to our local store in Thomasville. Both the customers and the employees appeared happier and more engaged, creating a more positive shopping experience.While I wouldn't necessarily say that this Walmart is superior to our local one, it definitely had a different vibe that I appreciated. Ultimately, Walmart is known for its consistency, and this store lived up to that standard. Despite the smaller size of the store leading to limited selections, it was still a decent place to shop with a welcoming environment.
