I have always loved my local Walmart until a recent incident. It was handled so poorly that I will now only shop here as a last resort, preferring other retailers first, and other Walmart stores if I must shop at a Walmart. It took a lot to make me walk away from my local Walmart, but they found a way.

Not only do they NEVER answer the phone, but they also suck at pickup / delivery. Before becoming a Walmart plus member I would do pickups every week or so and I'd always be missing items. Now, I'm missing my entire order that was to be delivered here a hour and 15 mins ago! Tried calling driver and the store with no luck. I'd hate to think I paid $100 for a year membership to have to drive to the store just to speak to a employee!!!!!

Anniston Walmart's OGP takes at most 10 minutes to bring an order out. At Jacksonville their OGP usually takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

Do not take your car here for servicing. The people behind the counters are either condescending or reluctant to actually do their jobs. A woman tried to tell me I was "trespassing" because I walked into the waiting area to see if my car was ready (it wasn't--not even after an hour in the bay--for a simple oil change!) Mind you, I didn't walk behind the counter--I walked into the designated customer waiting area and this white haired old woman comes screeching, "You're not allowed to be in here! This is trespassing!" Seriously. Also, if your arms are full (because someone made off with your cart while you were in another aisle) nobody will help you--they just stare, gape mouthed and vacant-eyed. Don't expect help in electronics if employees are chatting. You will be told to go to another department for help. It's like the people here don't want to work or know they won't face consequences for their bad actions.

It's hard to give a rating. The refurbished cellphone I ordered on line was defective. This was discovered when the Straight Talk representative tried to activate it. The phone would not recognize a time card. I received an immediate refund, but my active iPhone was deactivated, and no one could restore my service. To try to restore my service, I bought a sim kit for about $40. A new sim was installed by an associate at about 2 p.m., and I was told it would be active by 7 p.m. It wasn't. On the third 28-mile trip to Walmart, a third associate said he didn't know how to help me. Customer service asked another associate to meet me at the electronics desk. Her name was Jaycee, she was friendly cheerful, knowledgeable and had my problem solved in less than half an hour. She should be the department manager. Jaycee derserves 5 stars, the other three employees only 1 star, the product only one star, and customer service 4 stars.

Why does Walmart claim to accept coupons and then not educate their staff in how to use them. Tried to use one today, just cut it out of today's paper and the clerk, after having us dig thru and find said product stood and compared product and coupon and then floundered. He didn't call anyone he just stood there til I told him to just remove the item. No apologies no assistance-just typical. Also tried to get to yogurt and clerk was straightening and I said I was going to reach above them, she didn't offer to move-I understand having a job to do but what about customer service?

Always pleasant to come to! Of course, not too much to say about a Walmart, but this location is clean and has nice staff. Employees have a good attitude. I also want to note that this place has a great selection in the toys and electronics. As a WWE figure collector, this was the only place I could find the complete set of Elite series 57 figures!

My wife was in the store on 6/19/17 to return merchandise from Walmart.com. She followed all the requirements listed under the return policy. She was told by a clerk, another employee and a member of management she could NOT return the item to the store. If this is the case then revise your on-line Walmart.com return policy and if not train your employees on proper customer care and return procedures.

This Wal-Mart is easy getting in and out of store and parking lot. I hate Gadsden due to the congested area.

Terrible terrible customer service. Was there yesterday there was 2 people in line ahead of me and two behind me we stood there for I know 20 min and nobody ever come to help us. Then finally after THIRTY min ELOISE comes up there and starts doing her job. I mean if you don't want to work then just leave and let somebody who does take your place and let them do YOUR job in a timely and more efficient manner.

Terrible terrible terrible auto service. Stopped to get standard oil change. 3 bays open only 1 bay had a car in it. I was next in line. It is now 1 1/2 hours later and they still are not complete with a simple service. Only go to Walmart auto center if you need a nap and want to get frustrated watching employee after employee stand around doing NOTHING!!!
