Trash service department. Did not even have a bulb for my brake light on a three year old model for the car they sold me. Now I have to ride around and hope I don't get stopped. The car stores don't even stock it. Check out was a pain. They ordered the part without even asking if that's what I wanted to do and made me pay before giving me my key.

What can I say about this dealership? They sell a terrific product. How they go about selling that product is not good. I have purchased many new cars and almost all were Toyotas; this was the first time I felt that I needed representation by an attorney. They are very slick. Each time you come to some agreement and the paper is going to the manager for approval, use your cell phone to photograph it before it goes and examine it CAREFULLY when it returns. It seemed as if each time the paper moved, some new charge appeared. They charged me a locate fee of $995 to "locate" the vehicle, which was in the BP inventory the whole time. They waived this fee at the time of the deal, but then suddenly a rebate appeared and a $1995 Appearance package appeared. I think the appearance package is tinted windows I never agreed to and door edge tape, which was falling off (see photo). Sign nothing unless you have to. Inspect everything. I asked the finance guy the rate on the loan which we agreed to 7.5, but "accidentally" jumped to 10%; if you don't check and make them answer questions, this is how they get you. These guys are slick. I have used the service department and they seem competent; a solid meh. The photo is the quality that the $495.00 (according to Toyota.com) door edge tape job. Are they the worst dealership? I don't know. I would just recommend that you treat them as sneaky.

Still the worst experience I've ever had with a business. Do not trust them or consider buying a vehicle from this establishment or any of there other dealerships. Horrendous management.....Run as fast as you can to another Toyota dealership.

Bought a couple of vehicles last week, one from Bill Penney Toyota and the other from Honda of Jasper. Vastly different experiences. Honesty, integrity and customer service are very important to me, Honda of Jasper gave those to me and more. They've earned my business and I'm sure we'll be back. Bill Penney, not so much. Our sales person at Bill Penney was great. Very professional and helpful. The problems came from finance. On June 5th, my daughter picked out a vehicle at Bill Penney Toyota. We were asked for a deposit and were told it would be refunded the following day when we paid for the vehicle. I gave a deposit of $1000, via debit card. We paid for the vehicle on June 6th, using a personal check and a check from our credit union. There was no mention of refunding the deposit. I called June 7th and asked about the refund, finance indicated it would take 3-5 business days to process the refund. No refund as of June 14th and another call was made. Finance told me the refund had been processed and the holdup would be investigated. They promised to call me back. No return call. On June 15th I called for an update and spoke with the finance manager, "Brent." Brent told me he's not sure why I was told my refund would be processed the next day, or even in 3-5 business days. He added my refund would be mailed on June 17th. When I voiced my disappointment, he became very assertive and loud. A less confident person would have felt bullied. I let Brent know I wasn't going to be bullied and that he didn't have to worry about me making another purchase from any of their dealerships. Very unprofessional folks. Shop elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.

Took my car for service and told the service writer up front I have prepaid service plan. Get the bill and ask led if that includes the prepaid amount? Was told yes. Paid via their app and when I picked the car up, a different service adviser said I had overpaid by $92. Was told the service advisor would get back with me. A month later had heard from no one. Called x2 and was told "you now have a $92 credit on your account". Ummm, I have prepaid service. Next visit I should be covered by the PREPAID SERVICE!!! They refused to refund the over charged amount.

We had a very personable and straightforward salesperson, Mr. West. At this time, with dealerships "jacking up" car prices due to vehicle shortages, there was not much added in addition to the sticker price, and we were told about the one addition up front when first looking at the car... not after sitting to make a deal and then getting surprised by all kinds of extra fees. The signing process was somewhat shorter than experienced elsewhere for previous cars. On new cars, they also offer a great extended warranty for maintenance that's done at that location.

My truck needed a motor and these rats charged me top dollar for the cheapest motor they could find. Did the least amount possible and the cheapest they could do but yet charged me top dollar.

Now called Bill Penney Toyota of Jasper, AL Well, they got me. I agreed to a price of a vehicle that showed $4k in taxes being collected. The paperwork was then sent to me as I purchased from out of state. I didn't catch it then, but on the official paperwork the final price was the same, but the taxes collected was $2k less. So, when I go to register the vehicle I have to pay $2k and the dealership keeps the $2k they screwed me out of. Well played Bill Penney. I would suggest bringing your business elsewhere... you have been warned.

This is my first time being here since Bill Penney bought Crump out and I am RAGING. I came in at 1 (with an appt) for an oil change and it's now almost 3:30.. for an OIL CHANGE! take your cars elsewhere because this is insane.
