Need to install self checkouts. There is never anyone at the register. Hire extra help and keep someone at the front. Otherwise, I will just lay cash on the counter and walk out. You can just guess at how to ring it up.

If there was a way to rate below a one star I would! September 3, 2023, 10:28am…the lady who was supposedly working the register felt that fulfilling an online order was more important than checking out the four customers who were in line to check out. Two of us found her in the store as she was filling the shopping cart with the online items from the online order and requested to be checked out. The other customer had one item (pampers wipes) then I had four items (4pks of mini candy bars). She told the first customer, ok just one second. So, we waited. About 5 min later, I went and approached her, she said I’m coming in just a second after I finish this online order. I said ma’am you have a line of four customers. She said yes, I know, buts it’s going to be a second. I went back to the front and let the others know she was more concerned with the customer who was not even at the store yet than those of is who were so, I was leaving and going to the grocery store next door. I advised them all to do the same. Two of us left our items laying on a near by shelf for lack of service and respect! Do better DOLLAR GENERAL and Miss Lady who is working this SUNDAY MORNING SHIFT ON SEPTEMBER 3, 2023, you should find a much more suitable job for your attitude and choices!
