I have sent dozens of packages containing live fish using USPS priority in the few months that I have lived in this area. The majority of them take so long to deliver that it makes the estimated time look like a joke. I raise and care for these fish for months. I put all my soul and effort into each package. Each time a delay occurs or tracking is lost, I lose money, customers, months of work, and my little boxes of joy. I will have to shut down my hobby business or find another way to ship my fish, because I am done sending them to USPS in my region (Jasper) just to be delayed and die. Don't bother using another post office near here, I tried that too. The smaller post offices in the area all send their packages to Jasper for sorting anyways.

I have been traveling in an RV so I have a PO Box in Jasper, AL.well, I’m closing on a house in 2 weeks and I don’t want to renew my PO Box since I will only be using it for 2 more weeks.I called the Jasper Post Office and they said since my house will be in Warrior, I need to call the Warrior, AL and have them forward my mail to my new address and then put a hold on it.I called the Warrior Post Office and they said they can’t help me. I need to call Jasper Post Office. I called Jasper back and spoke with Greg and he said HE can’t help my either. my mail will be returned to the sender.I called the 800 # and spoke to Laverne, she said I have to go to the post office and have my mail forwarded. I am disabled and 2 hours from my Post Office box.So I spoke with her supervisor, Gloria. She told me I should have my mail forwarded to the new address cause it takes 10 days to forward. She said if I do a hold for that address, the current owners mail would be held too.So, here are my options. Pay for the PO Box, that I would only be using for 3 weeks, forward my mail to the new address if the house I am buying (so the current owners would be getting my mail, or forward to the new address and place on hold (the current owners mail would be placed on hold too if I did this)So I am left with paying for a PO Box that I won’t be using.USPS HAS NO CONCERN FOR HELPING ANYONE, they just play pass the buck.

Michael the mail carrier on Woodley Dr Jasper AL. Is the most inhumane person there is on earth..He hit and run killing my shihtzu he never attempted to stop and tell anyone or help ...He is not even man enough to face me with a apology and calls his self a government worker no way should he work for the government and be this low life. ..We never want him on this road again I want justice for what he has done.

We have to send custom packages regularly, which is not an easy process. It is lengthy for the workers and requires the sender to also provide meticulous detail. The staff here are incredible and always help me through the process patiently and accurately. I was just recently here on a Saturday morning and the person helping me was so wonderful in this long process. The only other person working with them was in the middle of completing two passport appointments, which is also a very long process to complete. That worker was doing an excellent job.It is incredible how rude this community can be. This created a long line behind us…. The other people waiting were complaining and almost yelling at the manager who came out to offer additional assistance. I understand long waits are frustrating. Having to do deal with a loved one being overseas, and the post office being one of your only forms of contact, is frustrating, too. Those employees were doing an incredible job and there was no need for a riot. Pitiful behavior.

They won't bother bringing it to your door specially if your in the hood part... I put that option still in the mailbox ik it's a smaller packet but everytime it's almost stuck in my mailbox there driver won't listen to delivery instructions I said leave it at my door and knock he didn't even bother getting out ? there's no dogs and your not gonna die just bring it to my door instead of cramming it in my mailbox please then 5 star I'll have to catch him next time cause I'm surprised he even gets that package inside the mailbox

Melissa is absolute SUNSHINE ?I own a small business and have brought in hundreds of packages at a time many times before. Some other post offices seem to be aggravated by the amount of packages, but Melissa tells me how proud she is of my success and always has a smile on her face. She makes the Jasper, Al post office a happy place!! Thank you!Also there was a worker in there named Brittany, not sure if she is still there or not but she also went out of her way to show kindness. She is a sweetheart too!
