“I’ve used Denver at CKW twice now for two separate vehicles. Both diesels… first a 7.3 Powerstroke, and now a 6.7 Cummins.
With the 7.3, I couldn’t pinpoint an exact problem. Truck was a no start case. He throughly checked every circuit he could and did all he could to look for the issue. After troubleshooting everything he could think, I suggested replacing the Injector Drive Module. At that point, more so as a diagnostic. He was glad to give it a try. And that ended up being the fix. He spent a LOT of time and effort looking at the truck. But charged me not much more than the part itself cost. *BEYOND FAIR on pricing*
Recently, my 6.7 Cummins had a turbo code. Before jumping straight to replacing the turbo, I read that it would most likely be an actuator issue. So, I reached out to Denver and asked if I brought him the truck and the part if he wound be willing to install it for me. Beyond willing to. Dropped it off one evening, and it was ready to go only a couple days later. Again, *BEYOND FAIR pricing*!!
I will continue to use CKW. It is a small business with only the owner and a shop hand or two. So don’t expect things to be done same day. However his work is QUALITY. He takes his time for good reasons. Easy to deal with and doesn’t give you the run around like bigger shops do. All around great guy, and a great business. Very knowledgeable.”

“So happy to have found this place! We were driving our little camper van from FL to NY and suddenly felt pretty bad bouncing on the freeway. We pulled off in Calera, AL to figure out what was happening and saw E&J Tire was not too far off the freeway. We pulled in and explained what was happening. Within minutes she felt the tires and told us the back two were bulging. Sure enough, she pulled them off and showed us… huge bulges in both of them, wow! Blowouts in our near future! ? They didn’t have new tires in stock but had two used ones that would get us safely to a Goodyear shop 20 minutes down the road that have the tires we needed in stock. She gave us a good deal on them. “We broke down just south of Birmingham late one Sunday afternoon. No taxis, no Uber, and no rental cars available. Stranded. But then, on the recommendation of a passer by, we called Robinson's and got ahold of Mike. Mike was a lifesaver! Really nice, very helpful, completely professional. He didn't just give us a tow, he helped us get back on the road again so we could make it to work Monday morning. Mike really went over and above and saved the day.
