“July, 2025. On the way back home to Iowa from Florida (on a Saturday), my transmission in my 2019 Lincoln Navigator decided to give out on me near Clanton, Alabama. I pulled off the road, had a local mobile mechanic take a look and he advised not to keep driving my car until I had the transmission looked at. I limped the car into town, and took an hour pity party before I started calling around to see who I could get to look at my car. Mind you, Clanton is 40 miles from Montgomery, and about 50 miles from Birmingham, so not a lot of local choices. However, I called Kenny Robbins Transmission, and Kenny actually answered the phone. He told me he was familiar with the type of transmission on my car, and if I had it towed out, he would take a look on Sunday and get back to me with what the problem was. It ended up I needed a reman transmission. Kenny and his staff were able to work with my warranty company (always get the extended warranty) directly to get approval for the work, and while it took a couple days, he was able to fix it and deliver it back to me in Clanton. We immediately jumped in and drove the 1000 miles back to Iowa, with no further problems. Really appreciate the great work and extra mile by Kenny and his staff.
