I've known Jim since 1972 when a friend of mine needed some advice on how to get a 1957 Beetle up and running and he always seemed happy to help. A few years later I bought a 53 Beetle and this man not only gave me free advice but also taught me practically every inch of these cars and I have been a fan ever since! He is still doing the work I need done.

I got an zero time engine that was "rebuilt" by Jim. Total hack job, and not sure what was actually rebuilt. Painted over dirt and grime, RTV smeared all over, un-repaired exhaust studs, or improperly drilled and tapped exhaust studs. I put one star, but it should be zero stars. You are throwing money away if you have this place attempt an engine rebuild. Avoid at all cost!
