I purchased a couch, chair & ottoman from Kat Kuzmiak at the Leeds location (Standard Furniture) she was very knowledgeable and helpful. She called days later to see if we were enjoying our new furniture. We will definitely bring her our business again.

Furniture is very expensive. I went there first for a bedroom set but decided to shop around and found one very similar for less than half the price. The people were very nice and helpful though.

Buyer beware! Standard in Leeds does not stand behind their furniture! I purchased my first set of furniture from Standard 20 years ago and it was a great experience. Boy, have they changed! Purchased furniture from them a few months ago and it has been a nightmare! I discovered holes in the furniture on Day 2 and I discovered that the recliner was broken weeks later. Reached out to them and was basically told that after the furniture arrives, they are not responsible for it. You have to go through the manufacturer, who may or may not replace it. If you’re thinking about buying from this company, do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere! I have been trying to work with them unsuccessfully and am now seeking help in other places to simply get decent furniture for me and my kids. This company does not care about its customers!!!!!! Stay away!

Went to the one downtown Birmingham and couldn't get any service. I decided to stop at the one downtown Leeds and I was approached instantly. We were told about the sales instantly so we picked out a bedroom set with TV stand. We were also looking for a reclining love seat and even though it was for my room, my wife instantly fell in love with one so I had to get it. Everything I looked at was half off.

Went to the store after calling and told they had in stock king size headboards. Got to the store and no employee was wearing a mask even though they had signs posted mask required. They showed us headboards, come to find out, we had to order them. We were also told it would fit our current frame. We were told three weeks for it to be at the warehouse. At four weeks we called the warehouse and it wasn’t ready. At five and half weeks, it was ready when we called. They never called us to tell us it was ready. We got it home and the headboard did not fit our frame. You needed to buy their frame. We will not be back and will not recommend.

We ordered a chair and a half in June and were told, due to covid, it would take 8 weeks to make delivery. It is now Oct and I was just told that it would take at least 4 more weeks. They blame the manufacturer but imo, this is all on standard's head. They choose to use that manufacturer, they tell people the est time of arrival and they make the money. Oh and don't ask anyone to have the manager call you because either they won't give him the message or he just won't care enough to call you. Bottom line is, if you can't walk out of the store with it, don't buy it from standard especially if its "special order" because they are NOT giving you a refund.

Just left the location in Leeds. Sales people couldn't even be bothered to say hello. One on the phone (that's ok) the other sitting at a desk. He looked up but said nothing. Walked around wanting to buy a living room set. I'm heading to another store and will be buying today. I buy from commission sales people who want to help.
