Visited for a year with intent to join. New pastor just out of Samford seminary. Made it clear we must separate church and state. Wud not lead congregation in celebrating the country and the military God gave us, on appropriate holidays. I was ostracized and criticized by a church deacon who told me to go somewhere else if i wanted to sing Christian patriotic hymns and recognize our veterans. I have six military in my family and thank God for their service and protection. God makes it clear in Scripture- and our US CONSTITUTION this land is founded upon His Word and principles. Let us NEVER forget that and praise Him for it and bless those who sacrifice.🙏🏻✝️. I pray this pastor and church leadership seek wisdom in this Very important issue
