If your home or apartment has the option please consider AT&T's 1G internet service. Our experience with mediacom is dealing with inexperienced, undertrained personnel. I'll spare everyone fine the details, but beware if you don't pay prior to installation (even if you ask to do so). They'll say you wont need to prepay, you'll be given an invoice after installation, and confirm your set-up multiple times via text/email. However they'll cancel your install, not show up, and not notify you.

Oh dear God, do NOT get internet from here. Constant outages, messy website, maintenance takes forever, OUTRAGEOUS PRICES, they won’t even let you downgrade your service. They even charged me for internet after you moved out, and when I asked for a refund they told me I’ll get a check for $20 in 6 business WEEKS. Not business days, WEEKS. They also force you to drive 45 minutes to return the router and everything on top of the stress of moving out. Absolute insanity. The 2 star rating tells you all you need to know

Constant outages, extremely high prices, they make you drive 45 minutes to drop off your stuff. Very inconsiderate company and I couldn't even downgrade my service when I saw how bad it was.
If you read the responses Mediacom has made to the other countless 1 star reviews, you'll see they copy and paste the same exact message. They don't care about their customers at all.

If I could give 0 stars I would!. I do not even have service through them but they thought it would be okay to come to my home while I was not there and put down wifi line and when they did this they cut my wifi is had currently!!!! I called everyday for a week and all they said was they put the note down and it could take 3 days to get back to me. No one has gotten back to me nor fixed my problem!!! Im having to pay $200 to get my current wifi fixed all because of mediacom!!!!

Worst internet provider ever! We were out of service for over a month, and no one would come out to service our router even though we set up an appointment. They canceled on us without telling us while we waited around for days for them to show up to help. I will never use Media on ever again! Absolutely terrible service and connectivity.

Can't get in the building during office hours-locked. They have a drop box for returning equipment. If it breaks, are they going to charge you? A lady wouldn't come to the door when I knocked, she just looked away. Can't stand this crappy company.

This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous! We have nothing but trouble with y'all. I don't understand why y'all cannot keep your crap together and have reliable Wi-Fi service. We pay a premium amount for this service and it hardly ever works.

The worst internet .. I’ve ever had .. 27 years old had 5 different internet company’s cause I moved a lot .. this is the worst I’ve ever had .. would never recommend this

Loyal customer for 19 years and they took advantage of that loyalty by jacking up my rate for internet to a ridiculous amount. Now I have internet service that far exceeds mediacom's quality at half the rate, it isn't an introductory rate and no contract.

Mediacom had the ditches dug up last CHRISTMAS 2024 IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSES on our whole road every drive almost to lay lines for service. Then the poles were put in and lines and THEN everything was left undone all the cable wrapped around every post and it looks like crap on my street. They have done this all over my neighborhood. This company is terrible. I don't even know if it's hooked up. Don't put your cable out here in the country and screw up the beauty of our landscapes. Ugh!!!!!!
