This is the absolute best Ulta! I love shopping here. There’s always plenty of people to help and lots of smiling faces, they go above and beyond! And if you ever have to do an exchange or return, they are so kind.

It may be the owner of the Madison branch is still behaving inappropriately. Regional leaders are often unaware of the problems in their own regions. When businesses see this type of action, they may assign office staff to act as customers to check if the action is actually being practiced. It may become necessary to make your concerns visible to the CEO or Regional Manager. Branches with high complaints and low sales will be addressed immediately. Companies do not like bad publicity. It can have a negative impact and is not beneficial to the organization's goals.

I was completely ignored in this store. I went in looking for a specific item and could not locate it. There were 4 associates standing together talking to one another, and no one offered to help. I went to front checkout to ask and the associate called for someone to come, but after 8 minutes or so, no one came. All the associates were still in a group talking. I went to shift manager to let her know of my experience and let her know I will shop elsewhere now. I have shopped at Ulta for years, and have never been treated so rudely. They have lost this customer for good!

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Esperanza at Ulta was so remarkable that I had to share.I have always struggled to match to my skin, and she went above and beyond to help me find exactly what foundation worked for my tone. Her energy and experience really made my visit special. Thank you, Esperanza!!!

I hate this location. Some of the employees make things more complicated than they should be. I guess one of the ladies assumed that I was going to steal so she didn’t want to give me the box but insisted that she could take it up there🙄 please train your staff that everyone doesn’t steal as well as how to do a proper exchange

Absolutely horrible experience with Ulta today. And I will NEVER shop there in my life again. I may have been racially profiled before unknowingly but today takes the cake . Today a friend and I, who is white ( and I HATE that we can’t move on from something so obvious that should not even matter, such as race!) went into ulta to do a little shopping. While making our way through the isle, we chatter and find ourselves speaking on the products. I separate from her to go further to the back of the store, where I pass Becky who had happen to be staring my direction earlier on in our shopping experience. Becky finally approaches me when I’m alone and ask if I needed help, with a smile, I denied the help and told her I was just browsing and thanked her for offering. A smile was exchanged. I continued to walk through the isles and out the corner of my eye I see that Becky has followed me to every isle . At this point, I wanted to ensure I wasn’t over exaggerating and proceeded to go through a few more isles. I wasn’t! Becky followed me to every isle and stood looking at me! Within less than a minute from asking me previously if I needed help, she’d ask again. At this point, I told her that I would just like to shop in peace. She storms off goes chatter to another associate whom he said his name was Tyler. Meanwhile, my friend who I came into the store with, is shopping in peace ! I make it back to my friend and informed her what just happened, over to the next isle was Tyler and Becky (both white) Becky came back over to me and asked me rudely if I was rude to everyone that way. For her to keep escalating the situation was a surprise as I had said nothing more to her and I was going to simply leave and not shop there anymore! Tyler, interjected and stated that she was just asking if I needed help. I told him I had already told her less than a minute that I didn’t need help and there’s no reason for her to keep asking. ESPECIALLY when she just asked. I got the manager, Megan involved whom did not seem liked she cared at all what took place in the store. This was such a horrible experience and I will not shop at ulta ever again.

I am not the one to ever write reviews like this but working with customers on a daily basis I understand how it is. I just wanted to get on and say how patient and kind the ulta employees are when it comes to customers. As I was checking out today a woman who made herself look like an absolute FOOL screaming at the employees for absolutely no reason (I’m so embarrassed for her and would not be surprised if she wrote a bad review because she’s definitely the type) the employees continued to be so kind and patient. It’s honestly sad people think they can talk this way… I truly hope she sees this and sees how much of a fool she made herself look like and I hope she looks back and reflects on this. Thank you to Ulta for being so kind!
