Crystal is top notch! So professional, friendly, and most importantly- she's a master at what she does! I had lots & lots of highlights & cut. I can honestly say I have never left a salon as pleased as I was yesterday! (BTW I'm 59 yrs old and have had my hair colored for the past 40+ years, so I have had lots of experiences at hair salons!) Crystal listens, doesn't rush, and knows what she is doing!

Tried to book with Crystal drake we spoke on the phone and agreed on a color. I’ve been getting my hair colored for years! She cancelled my appointment after asking me to send a picture (first time I’ve ever been asked to do that…should’ve known then) next thing I know my appointment was cancelled! I took it they don’t service brown clients!??♀️

Booking with Crystal was super easy and she delivered a 5 star experience in her comfortable workspace. She was very professional, easy to communicate with, and gave me beautiful highlights, and a cut/blowout exactly the way I asked. I will definitely book with her again!

took her 5 hours to do my hair when i’ve had other hairstylists do the same hair process in 2. After she put in all the bleach which took around 2 hours she left for 45 minutes and never came back to check on the first parts of my hair she did, needless to say my hair is extremely dry and smells burnt. then after all that she charged me 400Service: Hair colouring

my hair is naturally a dark brown and i wanted to go for a light/dirty blond. note: my hair is on the thicker side so i did expect to use more bowls of lightener than others. i went in with my mom (she had left so i was by myself when paying) and she had told her it would be around “$200 something.” i spent around five hours in the salon and i came out with just blond highlights with my normal hair blended in. i wanted a light blond and instead i got a cool tone light brown. for just highlights, i was charged $491 including a $20 tip. that’s an excessive amount in my opinion. i understand that i used a total of 14 bowls but on her website, it says that highlights with blow dry are $125 and glaze is an extra $45. i do think it’s pretty, i just wish i could’ve gotten what i asked for at a reasonable price.

It makes me sad to see that someone posted such a bad review for Crystal due to the fact that I personally know and have tried several hairstylists in the Madison area. I have dark hair Naturally and I have always wanted to be that Beautiful platinum blonde of course...and no one has ever been able to get my color exactly the way I want it until Crystal started doing it. When she started trying to get my color the way I desired, it was in bad condition and even broke off in pieces at the scalp from trying to get that platinum color from other stylists. She explained that it would take a couple of processes over time without compromising my hair any further and she started treatments on my hair to recondition it in the meantime. By the 2nd time she did my highlights, I was in love with my hair again for the first time in years! There cant possibly be anyone in this town pickier than I am! Crystal is the ONLY stylist that has ever been able to get my color perfect in many years and she did it without killing my hair and I Love my haircolor and its healthier than it's been in a long time and I get compliments weekly on my color. She the BEST hairstylist in the Madison area as far as I'm concerned and I would never let anyone else touch my hair!
