This is the only store that has the jiffy greenhouse kits for starting seeds I have looked everywhere and this home depot keeps this item in stock even during the winter months. I had to ask for an employee to get a pallet of them down so I could get one but they were super polite in doing so this is more than I can say for lowes because they don't ever have this product and getting someone to help you is near impossible at Lowe's.

Predatory rip off. Stay away from this store at all costs. Also be careful not to ever sign up for a credit card with Home Depot at any store in the world. I purchased an item for $59 and got charged an annual fee of $54. Basically cause I did not read the small little print I have to pay double what the item was worth. I learned my lesson. I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on.

The Home Depot had the items I needed to make repairs to a friend's home while I was visiting them. Finding the items was not difficult. The staff was helpful, and checkout was easy.

The store improved drastically..clean and merchandise displayed correctly on shelves , free aisle,responsive employees and FANTASTIC Garden Department.Last nigh I feel to to be in the middle of a Van Gogh painting...full blossom colors and so intense...gracious display for Halloween , flowes and plants ol.Lot of dedication went into that.

We were in a bind at work late one night, our pressure washer wouldn't start, first time ever! It was 9:45 pm on a Saturday, I ran to Home Depot, hoping to make it in time and I arrived walking in the store right as the lady on the speaker stated it's 9:55, everyone please make their way to the front and check out. So, Dejon was at customer service, I said please where is pressure washers, he said back in garden, so I was speed walking back trying to locate them, I couldn't find any employees anywhere, so I started to panic, I couldn't find any pressure washers. So, here comes Dejon without anyone asking back to me and helped me locate and get the lock for the gate to make my check out stress free!! I really notice and appreciate employees who go above and beyond in a situation like this and I just want him to be recognized for his great attention and work ethic he provided and displayed that night!! I won't ever feel as though I'm bothering home Depot now b/c Dejon assured me that everything was fine! I honestly am very appreciative of his attitude and service. Thank you!

I always use this location and have only had one semi bad experience a few years ago. But today was AMAZING. I was at the Madison Alabama location today (4045 Lawson's Ridge Dr). I really want to thank Travi Boyett in the lumber department. He went far above and beyond to assist me today.
I went there for wood for two different projects. (A fence repair after a storm and some "feet" for my compost bins). Unfortunately, one of the products I wanted to buy isn't carried in the store. I had checked the website but it is "available to ship to store" so complete user error on my part.
Travi worked with me to understand what I needed for my project and give me other suggestions to use. Awesome
However, we had the problem of the stores saw being out of order. I drive a small Chevy Sonic hatchback, so I would not be able to fit anything above 5 feet. He suggested a circular saw they had on sale and I offered to buy it if he could help me cut the wood in the store. He couldn't while he was on the clock but I could do it in the parking lot. But then I'd need power (to plug in) so that wouldn't work. I asked if I could use the regular saw table and he wasn't sure if there was a power outlet there. Also, that's probably against safety protocol to let a customer do that.
That's when Travi saved my day. He went so far above and beyond to GO GET A CIRCULAR SAW and cut the wood for me with that tiny saw. I needed 2 foot lengths to patch my fence panels back together, but 4 foot would fit in my car so that's what I asked him to cut. But he went ahead and cut them down to 2 feet for me! He even cut up the cedar I bought for my other project as well. Travi was a GOD SEND and will probably have a sore arm after that. Give that man a bonus! He was so helpful and nice and didn't even act like I was bothering him at all and I KNOW I was asking a lot. I'm sure most people would have said they were sorry they couldn't help.
I spent almost $200 (just today, I do a lot of home projects) and wouldn't have been able to if I couldn't cut the wood to fit in my car. I'd have had to go to Lowes or something. So he saved my day! I even went ahead and purchased a staple gun I was considering because karma.
Also shout out to my cashier, Stephanie. When I used my card, the card reader froze. So we had to call someone over to suspend the transaction so we could check out at a different register. She gave me a 5% discount for the trouble. This store is so wonderful and full of great people! Two excellent employees in one day! I always shop at this location, and today was just amazing.
Thank you Travi and Stephanie! I'm so sad a customer survey didn't print out on my receipt so I could fill it out there!
(Also, I buy the White Rio Mandevillas here every year. They are fantastic growers and I can only find them here. I usually buy my new summer plants at this location. Always good quality.)

This day I want to look for a bug zapper indoor outdoor I asked one of the employees he direct me to a rack in the corner of the front of the store tell me what I was looking for was up there but he doesn't know what I'm talking about sing me a prayer for the glue traps and then ask for a glue trap can you ask any of the employees they do not know what you're talking about

If you have a project to do at home you will be confident that you will find all of your materials and tools at the "HOME DEPOT." If you have any question pretaining to your project the staff will help you tackle any difficulty you may encounter. Once you have accomplished your task(s) make sure you give yourself a pat on your back for a good job.

Usually I’m pretty pleased with my experience at this particular Home Depot. However, every time I order an appliance requiring installation I end up having some issues. I purchased a brand new LG dishwasher and when the guys came to deliver the dishwasher rack wheel had broken and the delivery guy was so extremely rough handling my newly purchased ($1k) dishwasher. He could have cared less how aggressive he was with this new product and even laughed it off acting as if he didn’t care the least about this problem.
But here’s the kicker- immediately upon arrival, Before they even realized the faulty cart rack wheel, the other installer greeted me at the door and proceeded to uninstall my old dishwasher- when they realized it was broken he had already completely removed my old appliance which in turn forced him to have to reinstall the old one before they left- he was going to leave it uninstalled until he thoughtfully contacted his supervisor who stated ‘you can’t leave an open water line exposed like that’.
To make things even worse, the delivery driver guys STILL tried to make me accept the damaged product by saying they’d ’give me a cash back allowance’ for the faulty parts….seriously?
Here’s the thing- I know it’s summertime and everyone is hot and sticky and nobody wants to do physically demanding labor, but if you’re being paid to perform a task, just try harder for the sake of all involved. Sure I know that Home Depot has little oversight on who actually gets contracted to deliver but come on now, let’s be better.
The worst part of it all is that Home Depot has these products now on back order which means I’ll be waiting another 3 weeks for the next attempted delivery. ?
From the poor logistics to less than acceptable expectations, this place has come room to grow. The catch is that there is only 1 Home Depot in Madison AL so I’ll inevitably be going back, against my better judgment. Use at your own risk! You’ve been warned.
