Excellent experience. Rented UHaul Trailer. Quick and Easy checkout, great communication, smooth dropoff. Very nice facility and people. Highly recommend. Would rent from them again.

Staff is exceedingly helpful and nice. As a Uhaul dealer they have a wide range of equipment available. Can reserve on the Uhaul app & choose Guthrie's on west 72 in Madison. You'll be as happy as I was that you did!!!

Becky just helped me with my long distance move and she is an absolute gem! I had so many questions about renting a truck and using the auto transport and she worked tirelessly to secure the right truck snd showed me how to put my car on the transport. She went out of her way to make sure my truck was available, ready and clean. She even gave me tips on driving with the auto transport and. She is dedicated and has such a caring spirit. She relieved a lot of my stress!!

I reserved a U-Haul truck 3 weeks in advance at this location. Less than 24 hours before my scheduled pick-up, Brittney and Melissa rebooked me and changed the pick-up time, claiming central booking made the change — which was not true. They later said someone else reserved the vehicle before me.
Because of this, I would have been stuck paying movers for 1½ hours of wasted time with no truck. Thankfully, central booking was able to find me a truck at another location at the last minute, but the stress and inconvenience were unnecessary.
This location is dishonest, unprofessional, and unreliable. Avoid at all costs.

Not answering the phone, no on in the office supposedly out “managing the property” or something like that. No one answered, no one came to the office, had a uhaul ready to go and unload, but took my money elsewhere. Very bad business practices going on here 👎👎👎👎👎

I called to get help and understanding why my card was charged three times the amount that was quoted to me. Jeri refused to speak with me because my Fiance was the one who picked the truck up even though the reservation and the credit card they charged were mine.

Don't count on this company to help you if you have any issues with your U-Haul! We rented from them ( got talked into buying extra insurance... WASTE of money) Truck broke down after 2 hours! Had to spend the night before they could bring us a new one. We were told they would compensate us for hotel/meal. Absolutely didn't! They sent out TWO men to reload our whole house of furniture and they didn't secure our dining table. It fell over, leg broke off, top all scratched! They say they aren't responsible, U-Haul is, U-Haul won't take responsibility, the insurance company won't cover it! Guthries say they only rent out the trucks ( not responsible). So buyers beware!!!!

Becky is an amazing employee! She went above and beyond (even after hours) to help us make a claim for damages occurring during the transfer of all of our belongings due to the breakdown of the original truck we rented. She spent personal time retrieving all the information we needed. Thanks Becky
