I was at my appointment for more than 3 hours, my tax situation was not that complicated, but they didn't know how to file it. The CPA was very insulted and rude when I pointed out that she was visibly making errors on my taxes- entering numbers incorrectly due to dyslexia. She didn't seem to know how to handle my tax situation and I felt very uncomfortable after it was over, so I made an appt at another JH tax office in Huntsville and sure enough- there was about a $2,300 error (money owed to me in a return). The new CPA fixed and I filed an amended return. I was promised a refund of the fees from JH, and have still not seen that refund due to the errors (more than 3 months later). I will not be returning to this Madison location ever again.

I’ve never been to this one inside of a Walmart. I’ve always been at Jordan Lane and it’s in a room and more people, now at the Walmart, it has only one person and you have to wait. Praise the Lord I didn’t have to wait but the lady did such a good job. She was making sure she did it slow and got it right. But then it was giving her problems the computer was and my husband had stock and it was keep saying on her end, that it’s an E instead of K-1 so she had her colleagues try to help her. They tried at least five people helping. Then she called IT support and they got it. But I was supposed to be there at 2:00 something, and I was maybe 2:20, didn’t know it was inside the Walmart, was looking for it outside by Walmart. But I didn’t leave till 6:45 due to the computer problem we had on the situation. I guess if there was more than one person someone could’ve took control inside the place like Jordan Lane and try to get more people, but it was mind blowing, but I do not blame the woman, she was awesome.

My husband and I were very pleased with the service. The lady we worked with was very knowledgeable and resourceful. We would definitely recommend to anyone needing assistance with their taxes.

I went in at 3. She was busy so I scanned the QR code and made a next available appointment which was 5 pm. I went back and forth in the store to see if she was free. She was not. While I was wondering around the area a man walks up as a walk in. I walk back at 4:45 due to receiving a text that she was ready for me. She’s busy with a client. There are 3 of us standing there waiting on her. She asks why each of us are there then tells me that because the walk up was there right before me that he goes first even though I had been there since 3. I told her I had been there since 3 and she laughed at me in front of the others and said just she would cancel my appointment and she did. Terrible service.

Two years in a row I go online to make an appointment. I choose a time on THEIR website to make an appointment. Two years no one is there when I get there. They have appointment time options on their website but stupidly have no one there at those times!!

I'm doing my taxes there I always Loved Jackson Hewitt I will be going to the one in Madison, Alabama at the Walmart I've been told that it's a new Woman works there and she's very patient with you and very understanding and that's what I like not someone trying to rush you

I been with JH for years this was the worse I was forced to talk to an Attorney because I was getting the runaround from JH IRS and OPM confirmed 1040 was done wrong and amendment need to be done if not there will be problems for me 410 Jordan Lane Huntsville Alabama is hostile and very unprofessional This office have slammed the phone down on me several times I need an amendment I do not want to go to this office because of fear. Refuse to open their office in Walmart that is a cubical where I feel safer. The IRS gave me 3 publications to prove my 1040 was done wrong I am force to go to the office on Jordan Lane to get the amendment to correct what JH did wrong

Took my 85 year old mothers documents to a kiosk to get her taxes done. The prepare had to call her supervisor about 30 times. Took nearly 5 hours and only came away with Federal and I am not overly confident with it. Was told that state didn’t have to be filed since she is retired. Now I have to go to main office to try to get resolved.
