"We will be with you in about 30 minutes" it took 1 1/2 hrs. In-store customer service is just as terrible as over their over the phone customer service.

My dad died last week and I have been helping my mom get everything sorted. If you've never gone through this experience it is quite grueling, on top of being emotional, since there are just so many things to do you are completely at the mercy of each vendor to close everything out, it can be very very stressful. The rep we spoke to earlier in the week instructed we stop into a store as soon as we got dad's death certificate. So we did. However, this was apparently not the process we were supposed to follow. After helping us get customer service on the line again, Heather, the store manager, hearing how our conversation was going with this second service rep, sat with us and helped walk us through everything. When we hung up for the second time we still didn't have the issue resolved, so she called them again with us. After an hour + in the store, my mom was finally good to go. Now, I've been a Verizon customer since I was 16 years old and I stay with them for their customer service, but don't think I have ever had someone so invested in making sure we had the help we needed. I seriously cannot say thank you enough. The kindness and compassion she showed my mom and I, especially sitting with us through two (in store) calls to customer service, after they told us that they couldn't help, was unparalleled. Thank you, again, Heather.

Associated didn't try to help. She said she doesn't do pre-paid accounts. Would not even look up my account. I will be switching back to AT&T.

Most confusing place to do in-person business ever! The parking lotIs full, and so is the store. That is a a good thing. There is no rhyme or reason to check out! My wife walked over and picked out a phone case that she really wanted...and we stood and watched people for ten minutes. Couldn't figure out if we were supposed to check in or how to check out. There is no register or customer service...just a few folks with a Verizon polo engaged in pleasantries with random folks strewn around the store. How do I get myself into these things?Don't get me wrong--I LOVE brick and mortar. I won't be back here again unless I have no choice, though. They have lost the art of interacting with people, and their accessory inventory is very limited.

I was sold an Apple Watch that did not work, would not turn on/would not charge/would not reset and went back to exchange it at this location. They did not have the watch of this color in stock so they were unable to exchange it. They would not allow me to exchange it for the same watch of a different color without charging me an extra $50. Even though a nonfunctioning watch was sold to me. The guy helping me said that the quickest way to exchange the watch was to go to the Apple store in Bridgestreet. I took the watch there and as I was telling the nice lady why I was there she said "I can't believe they sent you here for that, we cannot exchange a watch you bought at Verizon." They even said they would be mad and ask to speak to the manager at that verizon location. I really don't have time for that so I decided to write this review so that someone else does not get fed lies and goes to waste their time trying to exchange a watch at the Apple store.
