Worst staffing and customer service. Store barely attended. Shelves usually not stocked.

The Pharmacist, CJ has always gone above and beyond to make sure my family’s prescriptions are handled with accuracy, care, and professionalism. His dedication and compassion sets him apart. It’s next to impossible to find a pharmacist who truly cares nowadays at large chain pharmacies. So thankful to have found CJ. He has answered endless questions and helped me multiple times with my daughter’s medications and always shows so much patience and grace. Walgreens is lucky to have him!

Always had good experiences at the Madison Blvd location. The pharmacy and their staff have always been great too.

Whoever was working the front end this evening (9/25) around 4 PM needs better customer service skills. She is a brunette lady. Retrain or fire her. Honestly the entire store sucks hence the 2.5 stars so I guess she fits in.

The pharmacy at this location is the worst! The prescriptions are always delayed and the pharmacy staff is slow and don’t listen.

Wow! They closed the store without any notice to customers, leaving prescriptions in limbo. My mother’s prescription is just sitting there, and her primary care doctor’s office is closed until Monday. To make matters worse, Walgreens pharmacy is also closed on Sundays. I will never go there again. They are completely inconsistent and inconsiderate when it comes to customer care. This isn't the first time. Truly disappointing.

The Pharmacy staff at the Hughes Rd location in Madison, Alabama is the best I’ve ever seen! They always do a terrific job and are always packed with orders. They even call me now to ask if I need anything. Fantastic!

I gave them a prescription for my wife’s post-surgery medication but didn’t have her insurance card. She was still out of it from the anesthesia, so I couldn’t ask her where it was. The drive-thru attendant saw this and told me to come back in an hour with the card while they got the medicine ready (my wife was in the car with me).
When I came back without the card (couldn’t find it), the attendant finally decided to check her insurance—only to tell me they didn’t accept it. It took less than 30 seconds to look up, something they could have done earlier and saved me time and frustration.
I had no choice but to pay full price because my wife was starting to feel pain. If I had known sooner, I would have gone to CVS instead.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Had an emergency neededto get some meds at like 855pm. Walking up to the door the worker locked the door so I couldn't get in.

I scheduled a Covid and flu test over an hour and a half in advance and when I got there they didn’t have any. They could have had the decency to call me.

FedEx Ground: The employee was very rude in attitude . They would not accept my packaged and pre-labeled parcel because it "wouldn't fit on the top shelf". There was no indication online saying that there was a size requirement. Basically shoe box size and smaller are what they accept for FedEx Ground parcels at this Walgreens location. Save yourself the stress and trip. Instead , drive 9 mins down the road to the other FedEx shipping center at 490 Production Ave, Huntsville, AL 35758 if you have anything about the size of a beach ball or larger.

TWICE they have neglected to scan my prescriptions once they were filled, so the prescription was ready but when checking the status their system said they were still working on it. I literally ran out of the emergency fill they had given me, stressed out of my mind because this is a medication I'm not supposed to stop "cold turkey", and the prescription was ready and waiting the whole time, but nobody knew about it until I came in to see what was happening in person. The emergency fill was because my doctor had sent in a prescription that was wrong and it took almost 2 weeks to get it resolved (and that was AFTER waiting 5 days for no reason due to them again not scanning the incorrect prescription once it was filled), and the only reason it got resolved was because I eventually started making multiple phone calls per day to the pharmacy and my doctor to follow up, and it turns out that for the week they claimed they were constantly calling and leaving messages for my doctor, they actually had done no such thing. Most of the people seem nice when you talk to them, but there is a startling lack of honestly and accountability when something goes wrong.
