Visited for FedEx package drop-off. Store was poorly attended so it was a bit slow, but still went smoothly enough.

The shopping part of the store was not great experience. I just put back all the cans of sodas I was going to buy in their shelf place. I would have spend roughly $50.00. The casher would not check me out because of a SALE. Frist he told me I needed to exchange 1 package of soda as it was not part of sale. I told him I just take sodas as is it's okay if I miss the sale. He looked like he was having a hard time using the computer. he started up again about the sale. I acknowledge he may have initially genuinely being trying to help. but the comments made afterwards was a sarcastic and not great look for customers service. he told me --No I need either 8 or 6 package of soda one or the other (Pepsi or Coke products). I said I thought it was buy 2 get 1 free sale but I don't need sale okay. He told me no the sign was buy 2 get 2 free or but 3 get 2 free. I said okay I just go back look (cause he was clearing not going to check me out without the sale) (I thought maybe he having a hard time with computer so I get one or other brand) . But then he told okay you go back and look and we will start over (it was not what was said but how it was said like I wasted his time). Yes there was signed up however those signs were right next to get other and the brands Pepsi or Coke products where mixed together. It was confusing. After putting everything back in the correct space. I going to Publix.

I love this pharmacy. They know my name and bday when I walk to the counter. I don't even have to tell them bc they care to actually know me. They are some of the best I've ever dealt with

Great store, CVS across the street dropped the ball and only have one person working there to start. I called to have my prescription transferred to walgreens and they helped me out in a timely fashion. I really appreciate their help and will be going there from now on.

Hughes Road location is by far the best location in Madison. They get really busy but still are helpful and efficient. I get my prescriptions filled here and vaccinations here. Compare for yourself.

Another terrible review due to poor customer service. First visit, they state your prescription will be ready in 15mins. I say ok I'll be one back in an hour And hour later I arrive. They state, we are filling your prescription it should be just a moment. 15 mins later still nothing so I leave I come back in approx 2 hours later and they say it's almost ready. What a joke. Everyone go to another pharmacy. They lack customer service on all levels.

Ok ok ok .... Again I get that Walgreens is busy and this store has a large volume. Here is my problem: as a pharmacist I need for the pharmacy staff to pay attention to the patient standing in front of you . I walked up with a prescription for KEFLEX and waited..... and waited while multiple people were served at the drive thru. Then I was told 20 mins by the operations manager (on her shirt). After waiting 25 mins I asked about the prescription and was told they did not have KEFLEX in stock. For a pharmacy to not have keflex in stock is equivalent to a grocery store having no milk. It is unheard of. So to the operations manager I say - you need to manage your inventory better and communicate with your patients prior to making them wait 25 mins. They did call the prescription to the Walgreens 5 mins from them (after we asked them to do this) and I will tell you that story on the next review. We -as healthcare providers -must do better.

While the pharmacy is always busy during peak hours, there are some precious windows of time where I can have my medicine ready in 15 minutes! The staff in the store is always friendly and are usually able to answer my questions or show me where things are. What impresses me most is the photo department always ALWAYS makes time to help me print photos. I'm not very tech-Savvy so I appreciate how patient the staff is.

When I first walked in, I was surprised that with absolutely no one in the store when I approached the pharmacy counter the lady said in kind of a snippy way, 30-45 min wait. I said that would be fine I would just browse through the store. The entire time I was in there no one came in, but for each call that came into the pharmacy I heard that same lady give the same reply or almost the same reply to everyone 30-45 minutes, 45 minutes to an hour. I understand that they have doctors offices calling in medicine and refill request via the phone, however I don't usually use that Walgreens I use one closer to my house, and they are always busy busy, but very seldom have they ever told me over 30 minutes. I'm just confused by the whole thing, why tell customers a fake time frame window, is it just so the nonsense conversation could proceed or are they always saying 30 minutes to an hour busy or not? Maybe I'm just passionate about customer service.
