My husband and I celebrated my birthday and our anniversary this weekend. The staff members were great and Cynthia was very helpful in helping us. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was great! We'll definitely be back!

This inn is such a gem! Cynthia, the innkeeper, always makes us feel so at home and treats our boys with such kindness! The breakfast is DELICIOUS and the location is wonderful for visiting the little town or the nearby nature attractions. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back!

We had takeaway Thanksgiving lunch, prepared by Fontana, daughter of the owner of The Mentone Inn, a B&B. Fontana has a food truck. Her Thanksgiving meal was superb & her portions were huge. We ate 3 meals out of each plate. The price was EXTREMELY reasonable of $25 USD per plate. An incredibly great value! Thanks to Fontana for such a perfect Thanksgiving meal!

We love coming back every year to the Mentone Inn. Everything is always Immaculate and the breakfast is absolutely yummy. Propriety Cynthia Stinson is the perfect combination of professional attention to detail and welcoming spirit.

Beautiful Inn in a great location. Owner of the inn was wonderful ... so kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The room we reserved was small, but had the most comfortable bed and was decorated so cute. This quaint charming inn is relaxing and very welcoming.

It is in Mentone, it is quaint looking from the outside, but looks are deceiving, especially after we got into our room or our cramped up closet. We used to stay at B&Bs on all our travels until a bad experience in Tennessee, but we were on 127, and it was right there, so why not. This deal cemented no more B&Bs for us. You could barely turn around in the room. The sink was in the sleeping area, it was a good thing it was as tiny as it was. The bath room had to have been a closet and now with a huge claw foot tub in it there was very little room. Tub had no stopper so you could take a hot soak, but with the very low to no hot water that wasn't happening either. Use care getting out of the tub to avoid stepping into the commode, and for goodness sake, an exhaust fan would not be a costly investment. I don't know about the rest of the rooms, but Needle Rock needs a major renovation. For the price I expected more. Not a place I will visit again.

The bed was comfortable. The Inn temperature was comfortable and conducive for a good night sleep! I loved the wrap around porch, so comfortable to sit on the swing with a good breeze. Breakfast was phenomenal! The hashbrown casserole was my favorite!

David and I got the privilege to spend some time this weekend with Cynthia at Mentone Inn Bed and Breakfast, and oh my soul, what a treat!I love historic places and delicious food, and from the time we stepped through the door, my heart was captured by the sights (and smells). I was surrounded by 1927 and cinnamon and apples!! Cynthia had baked homemade apple turnovers from organic Granny Smith apples, apple juice and brown sugar. We had coffee, yummy sausage, hash brown casserole and finally that apple turnover we’ve heard about…I’ve never had one more delicious, and I’ve traveled and had some of the best.THE innkeeper took us on a tour of this amazing place, and if walls could talk, the stories they would share of the many memories made here. The fun thing is that the most amazing innkeeper, who lives in the Inn, is able to share so many stories about the Inn and does so week after week, month after month, year after year, as if it’s her first time with joy and passion. This innkeeper doesn’t just run Mentone Inn from her smart business sense and mind. She truly runs it 100% from the love in her heart for her guests…and for Mentone Inn.Forever grateful for my friend, the tour, the memories…and an apple turnover :)

Cynthia was amazing with our kids - she made them feel so important:) Our kids loved Lisa too… she even made our kids special little presents. I can’t stress enough how much that matters, so - thank you. Also, Andy helped us during breakfast every morning with a happy smile. Often, before we got up to get something she came running our way with whatever it was we needed. Not sure if she was just training well or if she’s just a natural people person at heart. Either way, Andy was great! We need more Cynthias, Lisas, and Andys running around B&Bs!

This was our second time staying here & we still love this quaint, peaceful atmosphere. Cynthia & staff work so hard to go above & beyond. We were here for my birthday this time. My girls, me & the hubs stayed up last night playing games in the dining room when Cynthia came in & said she wished she would've known it was my birthday sooner as she brought us out some big chocolate covered strawberries!? YUM! Topped my birthday off perfectly! Thank you for always thinking of how to serve others well. You are gifted in hospitality for sure. ?❤️ We'll be back?

If you're looking for a cozy, true old fashioned bed and breakfast this is it. It has a lot of old and original touches. It's perfectly located right in the heart of Mentone. The owner is very nice and the breakfast is so good!

I spent a glorious night in this lovely bed and breakfast. Everything was so comfortable and Cynthia has so many nice little touches around the place. The bed was simultaneously like sleeping on a cloud but firm so as not to cause any stiffness in old bones. The coffee stations in both the upstairs and downstairs had delicious coffee and everything you could want to add to it. I enjoyed a lovely time sitting on the porch in the early morning sipping my coffee and listening to the birds. And then the breakfast! Wow! Such delicious food. I loved my stay at the Mentone Inn and can't wait to go back.
