Helpful guy at the counter helped my husband install the car battery. Prices were good, compared with other auto stores.

David W. went above and beyond for us yesterday, helping us through the right choice to make for a new battery for our Highlander. He shared his knowledge, ability, and time, to get us back on the road safely. Thank you!

I actually popped in to change the battery in my key fob. My car had just alerted me that it needed to be changed. The guy in Advanced Auto Parts seemed to want nothing to do with helping me. I have gone into Advanced many times with garage door openers, my key fob, etc, to get new batteries. EVERY OTHER TIME the guy at the counter said, "Here, let me change that for you."So, I specifically asked this middle aged guy, with long salt & pepper hair, if he could help me. Nope...nada. Said he couldn't do it. So, I tried to figure it out on my own.I gave 2 stars because the guy got my batteries for me and loaned me a tool with a thin blade to pop the cover off of my fob.If you're not doing that service anymore, so be it. Just watch how you present your commercials on how helpful your people will be to customers.I'm sure another parts house will be happy to help the next time. Along with all of my other auto parts needs.

The long pony tail, salt & pepper haired guy did not want to help me change the battery in my key fob. Never had an Advance Auto person refuse that before.

Just a few minutes ago I went into my local store to get car wash supplies for my bike the employee’s all know me by name I frequent this store so often. As I search I saw the buy 2 chemical brothers products & get a 6 pack of microfiber towels free, which was a nice touch, I wasn't going to buy that much but hey get 2 bottles and it will last me a while great deal!! that was until I got penalized for using my military discount. You read that right, everything was scanned in and the towels were in fact free until my military discount was added Very unhappy with the fact that using my military discount voided the promotion. It’s not about the $6.99 for the microfiber towels rather the misleading signage in the store that doesn’t say anything about free unless you use a military discount. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with Advance and probably spent my last $56 (including the microfiber towels) today. The store is on Airport not shillinder

I can not say enough good things about Robert at advanced auto. I came in first thing in the morning because I had a dead battery. He made sure I purchased what I needed and even put the battery in for me in 15 minutes. Quick and efficient and he was very personable. I will never go anywhere else but here. Highly recommended.

Most of the time I go in I get someone new who can't answer my questions. There is one man who aggravates me by insisting he needs more information to look it up. I asked for spark plug wires for a small block chevy. He insisted on a year and make. So, I told him it's for my 56 Chevy truck with a 383 stroker. He pointed to the wall where there were some universal spark plug wires hanging. This is typical of people working at parts stores these days. What happened to the ones who could answer your questions and make suggestions?I just tried to go to their web site and order 4 spark plugs for my Tacoma. It had me driving 50 miles to pick them up. I tried to change the store location. No luck. There's on 3 miles from my house. I just went to Amazon and ordered them.UPDATE Dec. 2021 - I went there to get a starter tested. I was hesitant on going there, but it's 2 minutes from my house. Went inside and told them what I needed. We went outside and the clerk hooked up a tester. He ran a few tests and said there is something drawing power when you start the motor. It dawned on me that the fog lights I installed 10+ years ago might be the problem. Sure, enough when I disconnected them my starting problems went away.
