Waited 15 hrs for a tow people at rental said it was not their problem. And would not do anything about it. Will not rent here ever again this site. I have never seen this before.

Rented a vehicle at the last minute due to a family death. Avis had one car rental left at $104 a day. In the rental, the back seat safety belts we're still locked in as if children had climbed out of them and left crumbs on the back seat. So it was not cleaned. The front floor had heavy mud on the floor mat. Due to traffic, I returned the vehicle 1 hour late and was charged $86. While this rate was acknowledged at the beginning of the rental and I did not take the time to read it because of my urgency to get on the road, I felt it was a bit excessive. Also the car rental was listed online for $104 per day. The paperwork, which I read after all charges were applied, listed $115 per day. When I called to complain, I was told the car rental rate was $133 per day. Avis has made NO adjustments. The vehicle return process is a real Inconvenience for someone with Physical Limitations, Although Avis is an entity of enterprise, I will not rent from Avis again. I will stick to my trusted, tried, and true Enterprise car rental

Absolutely VILE in every way, they act like they are doing you a favor and it feels like they are mad you are there giving them business. Avoid at all costs, terrible experience.

Avis was the worst car rental place ever! I called to find out the drop off procedure & was placed on hold by Heidi for 42 minutes. I finally hung up when I arrived & explained I was the person who was holding. Heidi was very ARGUMENTATIVE & then added a charge to my rental statement. I've reported this Alabama Avis to the BBB & will never rent from them again!

Horrible customer service. I called to inquire about the drop-off process. Hailey picked up the phone & left me on hold over 54 minutes. When I arrived, I informed her I just hung up after being on hold for such a long time. She never stood up off the stool. Hailey was extremely RUDE..UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARGUMENTATIVE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND Avis to anyone again.

The car was dirty and they charged a late fee of which we had no idea about. Don't rent here it is not a good experience. When I talked to the owner he acted like he could care less about what I was telling him. Stay far away from this place

I rent a youkon denali but after time the car won’t start they tell me go to swap it in the airport in the morning but They didn’t help me and the woman in front desk she wont let tell her what happened with me everything i paid for the upgrade car before but they give me lower car it’s was abad experience

Car wasn't cleaned but I was ok with it. Ladies at the counter are awesome! Don't rent a RAV4 they are very plastic feeling and have an electric parking brake that will almost give you whiplash when putting it in park. The auto start stop sounds like the starter is going to come out the hood. ( This is a car manufacturer problem not Avis)

Very disappointing experience with AVIS both local and corporate customer service. No ability to extend rental by even a single day. No one takes any ownership of this glaring issue. I won’t be using AVIS in the future. Also the car was dirty, greasy, and sticky. No wiper fluid.

When the airport canceled any flights back to our home for 2 days I had to drive to Atlanta to catch a flight and when I called AVIS they confirmed that I could drop the car off there for no extra charge. A month later when the bill came it was 1300 dollars instead of 300 like we expected. This avis is not a CoRPoRaTE location so if you return a car to a different location they will charge you as much as possible, conveniently neglecting to tell you this at the desk. Do not rent a car from them, just get a taxi and go to the closest reputable rental business and save yourself 1000 dollars.
