A few months ago, I purchased a mattress from the store after driving to Mobile and Fairhope, where I found both people incredibly rude and non-helpful.
At each store, I encountered a couple people that nonchalantly walked away from me when asking questions about the mattresses
So I drove to Mobile and literally 10 minutes before closing time the manager was eager to help we loaded 100 pound mattress and he help me out the door even though it was literally two minutes past closing once we did the paperwork
Recall, but I have a couple photos on another account that I will update
Thank you for your hard work and serving your customer even when it’s closing time
I hope you can use all of the reviews. Your store has to find a great last-minute job since the corporation that you dedicated your professional career to has done the unthinkable and is laying everyone off at the holiday season without any notice.

The store manager (Mark Battle) is the most unprofessional, rudest, uneducated person I have ever spoke to. I called Mr. Battle to ask him to please explain my son's paycheck. Mr. Battle started yelling at me stating he did not know anything about paychecks and the check amount is what it is. I then ask Mr. Battle for the phone number for Big Lots Corporate Office, and of course, Mr. Battle gave me a wrong number. Mr. Battle is definitely NOT an asset to Big Lots!!

I enjoy shopping here because I like that they have international products and a good garden section. It's enjoyable to browse the store for a little retail therapy.
What surprised me was their policy to have you pay for a paper bag and the little space they had at the checkout stand. It's good that they don't use plastic bags but they shouldn't charge for bags.
