The Bragg-Mitchell Mansion is a beautiful, well cared for, and stunning historic mansion museum. It offers a great experience with guided historic tours that start at the top of the hour. The tour guides are knowledgeable and share lots of interesting info and details on the house and its former owners. The rooms feature original furniture and items. The grounds and the house itself are well maintained. This amazing place is also available for elegant weddings, private events, receptions, and family photos, with perfect rooms for performances and gatherings. It is a truly amazing piece of history and is highly recommended for a visit.
I have driven by several times, usually on the weekend, when they are not open. I finally had a weekday off and decided to visit. Tours are given hourly on the top of the hour. No photos are allowed in the house. Friendly and well informed tour guide. Reasonable tour price.
