Called multiple times to get appt. Had to leave a message each time. To this time have NOT received a return call. Finally called and just pushed bottom until got to talk with someone. Could not get appt with my Dr for two months. I made one with the nurse practitioner. Sat in room for over a hour past appt time and still did not see her. This was a good place to go but not now.

The staff is awful . They do not listen to the patient . They also do not give second opinions, you have to meet a criteria.

It seems like there is an extreme lack of communication between staff, organization and record keeping.. My appointment was changed four different times, and then when I would question it, the staff on the other end of the phone seemed to not know I had an appointment on a previous date at all. I then called to let them know I had new insurance, and they said they would let me know if they took it, they then called back stating they did not accept it, so I made an appointment with another neurologist. However, CNI staff then called a day later and said they did accept my insurance. This office just seems really messy.

My Dr is Dr Markle. Phenomenal neurologist! I was a patient of his when he was with the Mobile Infirmary Group many years ago. I only left him because when he left he was no longer considered in network on my insurance. Then I unfortunately had to deal with neurologist at the V.A. (nightmare). Fast forward to now, my current insurance has him "IN NETWORK." Therefore, I came back to him. My regrets in doing so have nothing to do with him as my doctor. He treats my conditions with great care.
However, his office managers and front desk staff need comprehensive degreed courses on patient treatment in these areas specifically. Telephone answering, present patient treatment inside the office with focus on use of proper tone, facial expressions, and body language. Answering the phones with voice tones that represent healthcare professionals. Also, returning calls within the same business day. If I call by 10 am, there is no excuse why this well populated office staff (Never less than 5) can't return my call before the close of the business day. They are so unprofessional. It's like they all have had deaths in the family at the same time. EVERY visit. I AM THEIR INCONVENIENCE! So unfriendly and seem purposely waiting for another staff member to address me.
While I'm not a fan of firing anyone I do recommend retraining or reinforcements to improve your current 2.8 score. Their obvious lack of interests in patient care seriously needs adjusting. I've personally never seen an office staff that has such poor moral so blatantly obvious in front of patients. Please handle this? Then there is this new phone system. Very inefficient and impersonal. Get rid of it.
Dr Markle I wish your office staff acted like you! You ROCK!

My fiancé was in a car wreck and went to the urgent care to get checked out and they said that she had a concussion, damage to the neck and spine due to whiplash, and a small chance of a brain bleed. They referred her to this neurologist’s office and told her to schedule an appointment as soon as possible and to get a CT scan to make sure there was no brain bleed. She called the office and like most complaints was sent to voicemail where she left a message to set up an appointment. A little while after, she received a phone call asking if this was her, to which she replied, “Yes, this is she.” They responded with the question, “Do you have a lawyer?” Without introducing who they were and why they were calling. After asking who it was that she was speaking to and being informed that it was CNI, my fiancé told them that she did have a lawyer and inquired why they were asking. The woman on the phone replied “Sorry, we don’t see patients with lawyers.” She asked if that was still their policy if she had a lawyer for reasons unrelated to her injuries to which the person on the phone said “Yeah, sorry.” And then hung up. If you need medical assistance and you have a lawyer (it doesn’t matter which kind apparently because they don’t ask) go somewhere else.
To the administration at CNI: Your unprofessional demeanor and discriminatory behavior has resulted in a formal complaint with the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners.

Extremely disappointed to say the least! My husband who is 71 years old and suddenly having numbness and terrible pain in his hand and fingers waited 3 weeks to see Dr. Foster. We walked in the day of appointment only to be told it was canceled by the Dr. there was no explanation given, just the Dr. canceled and said not to rebook. We were booked with this Dr. by staff member after having explained his symptoms, I’m left to believe the staff is incompetent or this Dr. has no regard or respect for others time. We have never experienced this type of behavior or lack of care. At this point I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to see his true character. No thanks!
Please be aware.

This place is not only responsible for making me a cripple at the age of 40, but they also made me Vietnam veteran father with dementia, & wheelchair bound 80 year old parents sit in their waiting room for 2.5 hours. I politely went to the front desk to reschedule because they had other appointments, & the person at desk asked if I wanted to void my payment or let it roll over to my rescheduled appointment. I told her let it roll over. Well she was able to schedule us for the next day so we confirmed. Well the night we left after rescheduling, my nephew had an emergency appendectomy that led to us rescheduling again. The doctor‘s office calls my sister and tells them that the doctor will no longer see my father because he was a no-show after we sat in there waiting room for 2 1/2 hours the day prior this place should be bulldozed, and covered in the thickest concrete the world has ever seen! They have the worst staff of any business I’ve encountered, & if your doctor referred you to CNI tell them no thanks!! They used outdated hardware to screw my head back on my shoulders, that led to me having it redone less than a year later!! I would trust a dog’s opinion of my medical condition over any “doctor” they have there!! Dr Foster is a joke, Dr Middleton was a failure, & if the rest of their staff have anything in common with those 2 fools then I’d find medical advice elsewhere!!

My doctor's spend quality time with me and are genuinely concerned about my care. I have seen two different doctors for two different concerns and have been treated well by both the doctors and their supporting staff members. All nurses and staff are respectful.

The Dr. merely read my chart from my primary doctor. I was rushed through with incomplete paperwork. The office called 2 weeks later and asked if I have my test results from a test that I had never heard of. Disorganized doesn't even begin to describe this place.

Dr. Foster listen to me and he asked me questions about my migraines. He seems to care about his patients. He tries to find the right combination of medication to treat my migraines. I appreciate him trying to help me and not giving up on my treatment. Also you usually don’t have to wait long in the waiting room to be seen.Thank you Dr. Foster and his staff!

I cannot stand this place! I have never been to a more disorganized office. Every time I come here or need to call its a headache. Been going here for 5 years. At first, no one ever answers the phone. One time I was nearby and tried to call. No one ever answered the phone so I stopped by to speak in person, place was a ghost town and staff staring the walls (They are not that energetic to begin with). Now, they have a new automatic phone system that makes you put in all your information to get a call back. You don't even get to try to speak to a person. The fun part is that you get to play phone tag all day because, if you don't answer the call, you get to dial back and put in all the information again and wait. Patient portal is useless. Information doesn't get updated, and you can't adjust appointments. Just play phone tag.Once you have an appointment, be prepared to wait an hour and a half min to see the doctor for 15 min. Also, when you tell said doctor your medication (that he has had you on for 5 years and you don't like to take because it worsens the symptoms of another condition) is a necessary evil. Then, for the doctor to lie to you and tell you he's going to try something else, that's the same medication, but under the generic name. After 5 years is there really nothing else for me to try or other recommendation?Either way, I'm done here! I kept holding off waiting for improvements, but I can't anymore. Now, I have to go back to my primary to try to get another referral and pray the next doctor and the office will be more helpful.

I'm saddened to see low reviews at this location. I've had nothing but an excellent experience here. Visited both locations; Spanish Fort and Mobile. It's clean well run and very short wait. Dr. Andrew Manley MD is my Neurologist and I am just beyond pleased with his knowledge and insight and helpfulness with my never ending migraines. He gives me helpful information, suggestions and I'm Never rushed. He has an excellent bedside manner and really cares about his patients. In my book this is a well run facility with fantastic physicians.

I came to the office today with my granddaughter who was referred by her primary care physician. She had her MRI results with her. She waited a couple of weeks to get in to see Dr. Flotte. She had never seen him or any of the other doctors before. She has been. In tremendous pain in her lower back for several weeks and can barely walk. There is some swelling in the lower back. We get called back to the exam room and the nurse says she has a list of questions that she should have called and asked on Friday, but she didn’t have time. Then she said Dr. Flotte would not see her because she had bladder and/or bowel problems along with her back issue. I asked if any of the other doctors could see her and she said no. That there was only one doctor who might and he just had surgery himself. She said we just had to get back in touch with the primary care. My issue is that the doctor never even took the time to come in and see what the problem was. He just refused to see her. I find this inexcusable!!!!

People are generally nice. Medical Staff is knowledgeable and experienced. But where they lack is communication with the patient. They have a Patient Portal that they place very little information on (useless portal). And they are very slow at replying back to the patient when the patient has left several messages asking for results or other assistance.
