Donna at the Chanel counter is a superstar saleswoman! I had a bad experience at an opposite store in the mall (clinique-belk) looking for a lipstick, and Donna turned my frown upside down and helped me pick out a beautiful red lipstick. She was willing to help and not pushy or rude ,very much appreciated, give this wonderful lady a raise!!

I’ll keep my review factual. Good place to shop? Sure. Good place to work? Absolutely not. Unless you are a manager then your job is constantly in jeopardy. Sales associates last about a year and a half to two years before they are let go. The job is to constantly meet your sales goal, and once you can’t you are replaced. Sounds simple but it’s not, your sales goal constantly raises until it’s no longer realistic. Most sales associates don’t last 6 months, wether it’s management issues or due to sales goals. And the management is by far the worst, you have great managers like Ms. Wendy, you also have terrible managers like Nicole. For the store manager, Justin, the only semi-decent way to put it is he’s fake. The Dock is just as bad as the sales floor. Their manager Kevin falls in the same boat as Justin. The difference between the Dock and the sales floor is the Dock is overworked and underpaid. They often have to do many of the salesman’s jobs and are paid much less in return. Much like the sales floor, your let go once they don’t need you. From my personal experience, management and corporate treats the Dock workers as “slaves with wages”. The only positive thing I can say about working for Dillards, is that it looks good on resume. Now I get paid more to do WAY less.

Best department store hands down. Top Tier men’s and ladies fragrance departments versus ANY other retailer out there. The fragrance vendors here are extremely knowledgeable, professional and are experts in customer service. The new Jimmy Choo lines are exquisite and classy. Highly recommended.

I really like to shop at my Dillards store. The store is run well, and the clothes selection is outstanding. I buy almost all of my clothes at this store and frequently buy gifts there for my wife and others. Highly recommended!

My problems with dillardsManagers threaten ppls jobs on a daily and threatening to fire them which is inhumane. You are threatening a persons lively hood for fun. That’s causes mental trauma and it’s also abusive behavior. Some of the managers walk by you without acknowledging you or as if they have passive aggressive feelings towards you. Most of the tenures that work at dillards are on some type of drugs and brags about either drinking on the job and/or showing symptoms of a person that is high.If you put in a two week notice there’s a possibility you will be taken off the schedule.the store manager is known to throw temper tantrums and lunge shoes boxes at coworkers heads. He also thinks it’s appropriate to curse and yell at ppl when he feels the work someone has done is not up to his standards. Every managers uses his name as a threat to intimidate people as if we are slaves working on the plantation.Other issues I’ve seen my fellow coworkers experience was One of the mac girls was suppose to receive gratis from mac which would have been a beginner kit for her to try the products. She never received which multiple of the mac girls said the cosmetics has stolen and never given them to the girls. There were other products such as the hair pieces on edge that were 0 out and they tried to set a beauty advisor up.Overall the store needs to be investigated and a lot of the workers there need to be drug tested and that includes the managers. I had such a terrible work experience at dillards. The worst retail job that I’ve ever worked before. I left on my own terms with a two week notice due to the operation of the store and management. I just ask that every manager including the district manager who comes and visits the store to be investigated. She walked around the store gathered dust with her finger and wiped it on a managers shirt. No worker should have to endure the things that most of them have endured. Please take what I say with urgency.

I recommend Dillard's close its brick and mortar store in Bel Air Mall. The manager, Justin Dybyak, is never in the store and the assistant manager, Gabriel Williams, is dismissive, rude, and uncaring. The sales associates are eager to make a sale but extremely dismissive when dealing with a return. My consumer complaint: In June, I purchased a Kurt Geiger handbag for $412. By September, this handbag was peeling in several areas. This is an occasional handbag and I’ve probably only carried it 3 times, while storing it properly in its dust cover, when not in use. When I attempted to return it, I was immediately told of the store’s 30 day return policy. We all know that it takes more than 30 days to discover defects, such as this, on a designer handbag. When I spoke to Gabriel Williams, the assistant manager, she rudely suggested I contact Kurt Geiger, who is located in London, and only accepts returns from online purchases less than 30 days from the date of purchase. So, here I am, with a $400. handbag that I’m too embarrassed to carry.Since I’m certain, this is not how consumer affairs is suppose to work, the fight to get my money back from Dillards is on.Since yesterday, I’ve learned Dillard’s, Bel Air, has been receiving some Kurt Geiger handbags dry rotted and damage. They’ve been sending them back, as well as, telling their employees not to buy the handbags. Knowing this, Dillards is refusing to give me my money back. Now I’m wondering if the purse was defective at the time of purchase.I will be contacting the District Supervisor next, then Corporate and Consumer Affairs and lastly my lawyer. It’s no longer about $400., it’s about the deception

Great store, great clothes, shoes, and accessories. Fabulous sales! Sometime it's hard to find a cash register open but if you find a sales person they'll open one.

Rude sales associate. I will no longer shop at your store. I bought several dresses for a wedding here and needed to return one but because it was slightly over 30 days, she wouldn’t take it back. It was full price and still not on sale.

My aunt didn't have a proper bra, so I took her to be fitted, Angela , was so fantastic w my aunt. Auntie is handicapped and in wheelchair, this didn't bother Angela who fitted and made sure my aunt was comfortable and had the right bra. The worker, Sean, was extremely helpful at the Dillards in the mall. He was very attentive and polite. The other 2 workers that were there were also helpful. Sean’s customer service was on point all around !
