I was traveling from Florida to Louisiana. My jeep overheated after driving through the Mobile tunnel. I pulled over and checked online for nearby car care services. Fortunately, Downtown Car Care was suggested. They quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem. I also had noted that my brakes were noisy. They replaced pads, rotors, and brake fluid. They worked very hard to get me on my way quickly. The bill was very reasonable. I can’t recommend them enough. If I lived in Mobile, I would go back for all of my car care needs.

You dont need to bother going anywhere else. As a veteran of the car business, ive dealt with alot of shops and many of them are not great. This one is an outlier. You actually feel taken care of here, not taken advantage of.

Went in for an issue I’ve been having with my truck for over a year. After much turmoil I found this gem of a repair shop and they had me in and out so fast I couldn’t believe it lol! Great customer service, efficient work, and fair pricing! Thanks guys!

The best auto repair shop in Mobile. Thank you does not express my gratitude! The entire experience was a blessing. The team repaired my car like new, other shops just suggested repairs but could not guarantee it would fix my problems. I had my cv axle, control arms, and motor mount replaced. I am a woman, so shops have not been honest with me. Downtown Car Care is Extraordinary!!

Was visiting Mobile from out of town and had a vacuum system leak. Mr. Burns stopped what he was doing and got me back on the road. The shop is very clean and organized and the people their are so helpful and friendly. Thank you again!

The absolute best customer service I’ve experienced at any mechanic shop! My truck went into safe mode while traveling and the dealership told me 1-2weeks and These guys did it in 1 day!1 Thank you all for going the extra mile and getting me home on time!!

Had a blowout on my way back home to Florida from Texas. Called them the next morning, and they had to order them. Were supposed to be there by 1:00 but weren't on the truck. Donna called and told them my situation and said they better be on the 3:00 truck. They went ahead and took the tires off. They showed up, and I asked what time they closed. Donna said, "When you leave."
I highly recommend this shop whether you're traveling or a local .

Got shocks and struts, fair price, feels like the job got done. Mechanic did lots of little extras, replaced fuses, lug nuts and such. I felt taken care of

I’ve used them four times on two separate vehicles and the issues were fixed the same day.They are completely honest and thorough. Customer service is the best around.Donna is such a pleasure to talk to during a potentially stressful situation. I highly recommend Downtown Car Care!

Last minute saviors! I got out of work around 5pm on a rainy Tuesday in Downtown Mobile and to my disbelief I had a flat tire. I looked for nearby mechanics and found Downtown Car Care, I quickly called them knowing that they were closing soon, they answered and gladly took on the challenge to fix my tire. They got it done! The staff was helpful and friendly and I’m grateful they were able to fit me in last second. I definitely recommend them to anyone in Mobile. I’ll be coming back to replace my tire, as they recommended I should, since I compromised the side wall. Thanks guys!Services: Tires

I do not have the words to describe how much I appreciate finding Downtown Car Care today. I was in a bind with a dead battery while my husband was out of town. This was the easiest thing I have done in a while. Staff was wonderful and SO helpful, and the service was perfect. So worth the call. We were very lucky to call and come into this shop. On our way home an hour into a 13 hour trip, our ac went out and check engine light went on.They were able to get us in immediately and out in less than 1.5 hours.Staff was super friendly, service was quick and price was fair.Thanks for the help!
