After completing my 2022 taxes with a different office, I received a letter from the Alabama department of revenue stating that something in my 2022 tax return incorrectly reported that I had filed a 2021 tax return. When I made my appointment with this office because I purchased the Peace of Mind on my 2022 tax return, Kandace refused to even allow the advisor I made the appointment with to speak with me about the letter because it so much as mentioned a 2021 tax return (which was never filed), stating that I would need to pay them 99 dollars to even discuss this letter with them because "peace of mind wasn't purchased on your 2021 tax return" (which, again, was never filed) when it CLEARLY states the error was made on my 2022 tax return, which I purchased peace of mind for. I was told by Kandace at the front desk all of this and never was allowed to even speak with the person I had made the appointment with (Latisha). I never would have gotten this letter in the first place if, per the Alabama dept of revenue, my 2022 tax return didn't incorrectly report that I had filed a 2021 tax return. On top of all of this, they didn't even have my correct name or phone number associated from when I arrived to the appointment. Don't waste your time or money coming to this office to try and get the Peace of Mind service that you already paid nearly 50 dollars for with your tax return. All they will give you is an unprofessional attitude and zero assistance. A complete waste of time.
