Oakleigh House Museum is a beautiful and well-preserved historic home in the historic district of Mobile, cited among the finest examples of Greek revival architecture. The house museum offers wonderful and distinct tours, currently by appointment only. The tour guides are excellent, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and great historians who provide the history of the house and the several families that lived there. Tours last about an hour, making a very nice visit and a great thing to do. It is a remarkable example of historic preservation and is definitely recommended for those interested in antebellum homes.
