Shout out to this pool supply store & the YoGo float! Living in a small condo…no space for typical blow up floats…wow they made it soo simple to enjoy & put away. This store was organized, clean & the best staff! Highly recommend ? ?

We have had decent service the past couple years but this year has been awful. The staff doesn't seem to really care about helping you. They run the water tests and hand you the paper and that's it. There was a young man working who would try and help by letting you know what to add and when... There has been one particular person on weekends who is just rude. He literally was making fun of a customer who offered to put the chlorine containers in the back. This guy is a piece of work, he was being so rude to his co-worker when asked if he still needed a piece of equipment used during the water test.... I felt bad for the kid and probably would have quit if I had to work with someone like that. The customer service has taken a nose dive and I'm going back to Leslie's, at least they were pleasant to deal with and solved my problems....I find myself going back every weekend with the same problems, dumping hundreds of dollars into chemicals with no results. Very frustrating. Franchise owner needs to pay attention to this store....losing customers....

The most unprofessional place I’ve been to in my life. The employee and Ron (another employee or manager) made fun of customer at the water testing area. If my employees act this way, they wouldn’t work for my company for long. Beware of this place, the name represent the employees there.

Prices are cheaper than any pool store I have found, but the two employees working today were incredibly rude. I’ll pay the higher prices instead of having to deal with that again.

Last summer the people working at the Cottage Hill store were so helpful. I am a elderly female and they always loaded my jugs of chemicals for me. Today I carried my refill jugs and set them down and the guy working yelled at me to take them to the back. So I took them to the back where I saw some other jugs sitting. I waited 15 minutes, new customers came in and he waited on them. He even waited on a gentlemen who came in to get his jugs refilled long after I had been standing by the fill pump. He was very rude when he finally filled my jug and refused to assist me to load them into my car.

Picked up 2 containers of chemical, which leaked inside my vehicle on way home ruining my floorboard carpet. Also, be weary of any company that won’t give prices over the phone.

Pinch A Penny#125 in Mobile. Owner Autry Singleton. I spent 3 months and over $1200 trying to get my pool open. Made one visit to Autry and within a week my family has a BEAUTIFUL clean pool for Independence Day. I am so thankful for the help and guidance he's given me to get this far. Even have his personal number and insisted I call with any issues. SUPERB service. I'll never go anywhere else.

Looking for a part online for my Polaris. I found it online for a good price and almost ordered it. I drove down the street to PINCH A PENNY and found it cheaper. They saved the day.

Very knowledgeable about pools and the maintenance of pools. Free water testing and letting you know what you need for happy water, happy pool , which makes everyone happy ?.

Do not recommend. Owner has poor communication skills/ needs some training in people skills. There also seems to be a high rate of employee turnover. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Today was my first time visiting here and I was not impressed. The person checking out customers seemed to be in training but no one was helping him. I waited in line for a very long time while he attempted to add the customer in front of me to the computer system. Then he went through the same lengthy process trying to get my info added. All while another employee stood at the other register not offering assistance. Perhaps he was in training too. All while I stood there with a toddler getting frustrated at having to wait. When I was given my total it was higher than I expected. But since I had a screaming child by this point I just paid it and left. When I got to the car and checked my receipt I discovered the two pool toys I purchased rang up several dollars higher than the price on the shelf. All around a disappointing experience. I had hoped since this store is closer to my home that I could start doing business here. But unfortunately I guess I’ll either have to make the much longer drive to my usual pool supply store or order online.

If you're in a hurry and just want to throw some stuff in your pool pinch a Penny is not the place you want to go to get advice the guy there who is over everything takes his time to break down every step you need to do to take care of your own pool you can bring in a pool sample you can you can ask him anything he literally will print you out step by step directions on how to take care of your pool properly but he will not just sell you a bunch of chemicals to go frivolously throw in your pool because it's dangerous if you won't do that but if you have the time to take the time to listen to it no matter how drawn out the process may be by the time you leave you will have written instructions on how to take care of your pool by yourself without having to pay anybody else it is an awesome place to go to with great customer service thank you penny
