I've always had good experiences here. From having my rescued kitty and pup neutered to diagnosing my other pups gastro issue and most recent was having to put my 19 year old cat to sleep. They really care about your animals. Prices are affordable. I recommend them 100%

My 75 pound black lab. Forrest, was hit by a car last week & dr. Edmunds & her staff went above & beyond to save his life, working overtime to not only take care of him, but also keeping me informed of everything that was wrong w/him, different options we had AND what it would cost.
At the same time all this is going on, my 16 yr old mini dashound had an eye injury that they were also having to treat. Dr Edmunds spent so much of her time & expertise w/us, saving not only my baby's eye, but me thousands of dollars w/an ophthalmologist.
Definitely want to recommend this vet!

THANK YOU to Dr. Alston, Alex, Brandon, & all other staff that I did not have the pleasure of meeting. I cannot say enough kind words about the people, quality of care, and thoroughness at this establishment. I brought Bubbie in for a second opinion/additional testing, as during the holidays I had to take him to both MedVet & his previous vet (Highlands, do NOT recommend) for urgent care. During intake, Alex asked lots of follow up questions & showed a genuine level of concern my baby. Dr. Alston did the same, went slow, & explained everything she saw on the ultrasound. She spent about a total of 45 mins to a hour in the room with me answering questions & helping to figure out a game plan. Sadly, I had to lay my boy down to rest two days later, by no fault of theirs. It happened over the weekend (they were closed), so I called Monday to let them know. Brandon was SO sweet & comforting during our phone call. Then, Dr. Alston called me directly to offer her condolences. Their kindness & genuine care for our fur babies well-being is evident in the way they conduct business. I cannot thank them enough for how everything was handled. 💜

We have moved all 10 of our pets to Springhill animal hospital and we have had wonderful experiences with all of them here.
Since changing to this vet, one of our cats had a bad reaction to a common vaccine.
They took extra care to be sure she made it through a bad reaction.
They even came in when they were closed to check on her and called us with updates!
They are the best at what they do but their compassion for our babies goes way beyond the average clinic!

They care about your dog, more than your money. They were very helpful on the phone in answering every question I needed answers to , got me in immediately in an emergency situation and were amazing to my puppy SUNNY and to myself , in Sunny’s last couple of hours.

They killed my cat and made me pay for it. I've been trying to take care of the stray population around a particular neighborhood by taking in and fostering kittens while getting the adult cats fixed. This has gotten rather expensive between litter, cat food, and vet bills. I had 2 male kittens that had not yet been adopted and it was time to get them fixed. So after researching prices I saw this place only charged $35 for a cat neuter. I made 2 appointments and felt like I finally caught a break. So the 2 males are brought in for their big day and a few hours later I receive a call that one of them did not wake up and they were doing cpr trying to revive him. I have never in all my 30 years of taking care of cats heard of any animal dying during a spay/neuter procedure. It is truly unheard of, and my regular vet agrees. They obviously did something wrong or did not truly screen my pet before putting him under. So after an entire day of crying over this, I go to pick up the one that did survive the hack job these people did, and my bill is over $300. 2 neuters plus cost of meds they used trying to revive the one they killed. So let me break down what it ACTUALLY costs for a cat neuter. $35 - neuter/sedation, $27.50 Prep Profile, $21.50 HM5(CBC), $19.75 IV, $32 Felv/FIV/HW Test. This totals $135.75. I was charged that for each neuter. These extra charges were NOT disclosed to me when I called to confirm their $35 neuter price. They intentionally withheld this information from me.
In Summary: the price is the same as going to an actual vet that knows what they're doing and will take care of your pet. Do not waste your money here. This place is a back alley chop shop and it is now my mission to spread the truth about this place so no one has to go through the pain I did.

They took my dog, Alfredo, in the same day I called. They asked what my budget was and did everything they possibly could to stay in that price range while getting him the help he needed. The staff is really nice and the facility was clean.

I got my male kitten neutered on 9/16/25 and it was overall a great experience everytime I come to Spring Hill Animal Clinic. I wanted to address some concerns I had before getting him fixed and the Veterinarian came and spoke to me personally which made me feel a hundred times better! ( my kitten had a allergic reaction to vaccines he got previously) which they supplied medicine for him right away when I called. When I picked him up they told me while he was waking up from anesthesia that they were holding/loving on him. 🤍 Getting him neutered was a VERY reasonable price and my $30 deposit was included when I checked out. I will continue to bring my animals here, the staff has been helpful and is great at communicating!

The experience would have been perfect. However, my husband brought our dog in. I had already scheduled the service we wanted and recieved an amount to pay becausr i knew i could not get off work.
When my husband arrived he received paperwork that he didnt understand. The lady at the desk told him he had to check all of the boxes. He checked all of the boxes as instructed which approved services we did not want. I had to pay for those service and could not get the one I went for. My dog needs surgery and the additional expense delayed his care.
They said it was our fault because he didnt understand the paperwork. He shouldn't have followed her direction because now they have his signature as approval for extra care.
That being said the actual care was fabulous. They seem to really like the animals and treat them well. This was our first bad experience with them.

They over sedated and killed my cat! Then they charged me $90 for the procedure. I have several friends in veterinary school that assured me about what happened. They were NOT sympathetic or apologetic. Go ANYWHERE else.

This place has been the best Vet experience. We tried at least 3 in Mobile prior to finding Springhill. They are so kind and they helped make the passing of our beloved Maggie a peaceful experience. They cried with us as we let her go to dog heaven and even sent a card to the house signed by the staff. I will never forget their kindness and we will continue to use them for all of our future pet needs.

I cannot recommend Spring Hill Animal Clinic enough! I would give eleven stars if possible. Every single person who works here is incredibly friendly, compassionate, and clearly loves what they do. From the moment you walk in, the environment is warm, welcoming, and filled with kindness. It’s so comforting to know that when I bring my pets here, they’re treated like family. I had a chocolate scare with my dogs today, and everyone was very understanding and eager to help. If you’re looking for a place you can truly trust with your fur babies, this is it! The care, attention, and love they show is unmatched. Thank you to the whole team for everything you do, and shoutout to Dr. Collins! Very personable, professional, and informative. I highly recommend!
