“Publix is great, always clean and well stocked. Employees are always courteous and helpful. Prices usually norm with great weekly sales and deals. Today I got Community Coffee, my current need with soon price hikes for half price on a 2 for 1 normal sale for many items in the store.”
“Publix Customer Experience – October 7, 2025, around 4 p.m.
As a mother, wife, and student, life can get hectic — so when I went grocery shopping at my local Publix on October 7th to prepare dinner for my family, I was already juggling a lot. After spending about an hour and a half shopping, I realized at checkout that I had left my wallet (with my debit card) at home.
I went to the customer service desk and spoke with a young lady named Maya, who was very polite. I explained that I lived about 20 minutes away and asked if I could leave my groceries at customer service until I returned. She agreed, and I headed home. Unfortunately, by the time I returned, it had started storming heavily. I didn’t have an umbrella, so I waited in my car until the rain lightened up.
When I went back into the store — around 4:45 to 4:50 p.m. — I told Maya I was back for my groceries. She informed me they had already been put away because I had said 20 minutes. While I understood, I was a bit shocked and disappointed, considering the storm delay was out of my control. The team lead, Chaz, walked up and casually said, “Oh, sorry,” which came across as dismissive. After spending so much time shopping, I left feeling unappreciated and undervalued as a customer.
I then requested to speak with a manager, and Michelle, the CS manager, came to assist. I explained the situation and expressed that I felt Chaz could have shown more empathy or initiative. Michelle handled the matter very professionally and immediately called for assistance to help me retrieve the items that had been restocked.
That’s when Saniya and Amariya stepped in — and they were absolutely exceptional. Within 10 minutes, they had gathered all my groceries and made sure I was taken care of. Their kindness, efficiency, and professionalism truly turned my frustrating experience around. Because of them, I was able to check out quickly, get home, cook dinner for my family, and still make it to class on time.
Huge Kudos to Saniya and Amariya — they are shining examples of what excellent customer service looks like. Their effort and attitude made me feel valued and appreciated. I sincerely hope Publix recognizes them for their outstanding service.
As for the overall experience, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars — only because of the dismissive response from the team lead Chaz. I believe that with a bit more training in empathy and customer care, Publix can ensure every guest leaves feeling as valued as Saniya and Amariya made me feel. Thank you so much to those young ladies!!”
“I just went to the new Publix and I was quite impressed. The store was clean, organized and the employees were very friendly. It reminded me of the delchamps I used to go to before wal mart put them out of business. Some of their items are a little pricey but I think overall it would probably work out the same on my grocery bill. I will be shopping with them on a regular basis if for no other reason than to show wal mart that there is a new kid on the block.”

“Cool place, had just about whatever I needed. Especially some very hard eclectic items. They seem to carry so that's good. I also had some really fresh food which I ended up getting some spring rolls that were delicious. Overall good place with a decent selection.”
“Every time I check out at Aldi, I am pleasantly surprised at my total. Always less than I expect once I start grabbing random things from the freezer section. I'm also a big fan of what others apparently see as a lack of customer service. I see it as an efficient, well-oiled checkout process. If you want a hug when you're checking out, go to Publix.”
“This is not just a piggly wiggly it is also a flea market in half the store. It's new and used stuff. The prices are reasonable. I enjoyed looking at all the different sections.”

“I wish I would have gotten the girls’ names, but they’re all 3 so sweet every time I come in even though there’s always confusion with my prescription info being sent in from my doctor’s offices. Everything that seemed like the end of the world to Walgreens, who I used in the past, is a breeze to these girls and they’re always so polite and happy to help in any way :)”

“I am a retired senior and have never experienced any of the negative sentiments that are being posted regarding their negative experiences with the pharmacy manager and her staff. Since opened in 2014 I have been treated with the utmost respect and have been provided exceptional service. As a result of the services provided I transferred all my prescriptions to this pharmacy.”
“It's aight. Store was clean, stock was being shelved as we shopped, bread guy even handed me a loaf of white still warm from baking which was considerate. Visable security helping keep my prices lower, minor problem at self-check out finding the bananas option; attendant got us sorted out quickly and kindly. Very likely we'll be back by this location regularly.”

“The employees in this store are over the top helpful. If you can't find anything, they will take you to it. If I had to find someone about this store that I would change... It would be that front brick entrance. People coming out of the store just blow out in front of you without looking. It gives no reaction time to stop because the brick pillars are right on the edge of the curb. Not terribly safe.”
