I wanted to share my great experience I had here when I brought my car in for a flat tire fix. The team was great and the service even greater. Roland helped out with the service of my car and the techs went above and beyond my original issue. Recommend them for sure and I will definitely go back.

Seth was super knowledgeable and helpful. I came in to have my tire checked after driving In from Atlanta. He diagnosed the problem right away while making me aware of other issues with my car. He gave me a great price and was able to work with me on getting the best possible deal to get my car ready to get back on the road. I highly recommend Mavis Tires & Brakes. Ask for Seth!

Seth was amazing in helping me out with my tire! I thought that I was going to end up needing a replacement tire but he was able to repair the tire I had and send me back on my way very quickly. I have done a lot of business with Mavis Tires and always gotten what I needed, and I am especially glad that Seth was the one helping me today!

Very friendly employees with great customer service. Jennifer and JT were lifesavers after going to the Theodore location. It speaks volumes that they were willing to assist my family with a smile with only 15 minutes left before closing.

1st I wanna say the manager was super nice but when I got my car back it was worse than when I drove up. The 1st time I was there for about 1 &15 minutes. I came back because my steering wheel was shaking really really bad, there was a whistling noise going on that had not been there before and I smelled some type of oil. I was told he test drove it when I came but once they finished no one test drove it. I took it back the same day and the manager drove it and said they would fix it. He admitted that it was worse. I needed brakes and rotors. There was a slight trimble when I hit the breaks but that was it. I'm not confident that it was repaired because when I hit the breaks there's still a tremble. Again, the customer service was great, really nice but now my car has more problems. With new brakes and rotors there shouldn't be a tremble.

I stopped at the Mavis on Government just before closing. I was immediately met by Seth, who was in the middle of working on another car, asking what I needed. Once I explained the issue Seth moved my truck into a bay and took care of the issue. In and out in 15 minutes. I have never shopped at Mavis, but will next time I need tires or brakes. Seth knows good customer service. Thanks

Seth at Mavis on Government St did me a huge favor. It was close to closing time and I called to see if they could look at a slow leak in one of my tires. I was told to come right over. The screw was found and patched in no time. Excellent service and great customer service!

Got recommended Mavis by my roadside assistance, and I couldn't be more pleased! Besides being open on a Sunday, Seth was quick and friendly to help me out and get me back on the road. I appreciated the assist and will be back to Mavis if I ever run into tire troubles in Mobile again.

Great customer service by the entire team! The Store Manager and Seth worked to get me the lowest price they could on a set of 4 Goodyear trailer tires which was lower than any competitors’ price. They were able to get me in and out in Lea than an hour. I’ll definitely be back the next time I need a set of tires.

Literally the WORST experience! I had a leak in my tire on my way to work, so I came here right as soon as they opened. It was only me and one other person to be serviced and I was first in line. They said it would cost $25-35 to fix (which is high to me, because I've never paid more than $15 to get one fixed before). I didn't have an option to go somewhere else at this point, I just needed it fixed so I could get to work, so I agreed and handed over the keys. 45 minutes later I haven't heard anything about my car. I go up to the front, and it's a different guy than the one I first spoke with. I see he is working with something so I wait for him to notice me and ask what I need. After 5 minutes with no acknowledgement, I politely ask if he has an estimate on how long it will take to finish fixing my tire. He rudely asks which of the two cars is mine, and then says the machine broke and he is working to try to fix it. I go back to the waiting area and a few minutes later the first guy comes back and says he has the machine working again and it shouldn't be much longer. 30 minutes later--it's now 9:15 and I got there at 8-he comes back and says he fixed the tire and I should be out of there in 10 min max. Another 15 min goes by, and he comes back and says he can't fix the tire; that I need a whole new one. That a screw went through it sideways and hit the sidewall of the tire and he's tried to close it twice and it's not going to hold, that it keeps leaking. Now I totally understand that you can't fix it if it is in the sidewall. But, shouldn't they have been able to tell that an hour and a half ago? So it seemed fishy. I asked if they could just put my spare on and I'd take it back to the place I got the tires from because I have roadside. He does take me back to see the tire and I do see bubbles coming out indicating a leak...around a SCREW...STILL IN MY TIRE! Now I'm not all that smart when it comes to fixing tires and cars, but I know you can't plug or patch a tire if it still has the screw IN IT! Plus, it was directly in the middle of tread. NOT in the sidewall. So again, I tell him to put on the spare and just put the other tire on a trash bag or something in the back (I have an SUV). They do put plastic down, but they leave the tire on its side! So it's rolling all around back there and hitting up against the back glass! I thought it was going to bust out the window before I could get to work and have someone hold the tire while I raised the hatch so it wouldn't fall out, and we could lay it down flat. The ending to the story is great though, because I took it back to Vannoys where I bought the tires from, and they had it FIXED in 15 min. They said it was a pretty straight forward fix, and no idea why someone would think it would warrant a new tire. So, moral of the story...DO NOT COME HERE. Because if they were going to rip me off over just a simple tire patch, what might they do on something really big and serious?.... (Edit: Forgot to mention, they also somehow managed to lose a part of the wheel in the process and now there's a huge hole in the middle of the wheel instead of it being covered...Seriously, just stay away...)
